Didn't Monique also say, "be fat & proud?" well, we see how well that worked out! Taking advice from her is a :nono::nono:

I'm not sure when the show aired but I don't think C. Rock should be so accessible to every black show like he has been "Oprah, Tyra, Wendy Williams, Mo'Nique" there might be more but everything he says seems redundant. After doing the first one with Oprah.

Is she that loud on all of her shows? I didn't watch the whole thing but I heard her say something about that you have to speak this way when you are wearing an afro. I have an afro, but I like to think I'm not a loud mouth.

I think I'm getting tired of hearing about this movie already.

That's what they do when they do their media blitz - repeat the same things over and over and over again. Retelling the same ole lame jokes, and fabricated tales.

It is like they memorize talking points and run with it. I don't even think they bother to consider that the audience at home watches more than one program.

I've heard Chris' spiel rehashed on Oprah, Jay Leno, that big woman on fox, etc., etc., etc. They are too lazy or too uninspired to come up with new material for each interview.

I thought so too...I forgot to mention that in some of the other threads I posted in. It seemed like every interview he had the same rehearsed answers to the questions pertaining to the movie. I kind of expected him to be on everyone's show though...since he was trying to promote his movie that's what it boils down to at the end of the day.

Faison Love was on a few shows promoting his movie as well, but not as many...or at least from what I was able to see.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ my sentiments exactly....as soon as i read this I thought of that hushed little whisper type voice brandy talked in at times when she did Moesha.

I saw some of that show when Monique was wearing the afro and I think she's cool but I can't get down with all the yelling either. I tried to watch it again last night and I always have to turn the volume way down in order to entertain anything she has to say. At some points I just put the tv on mute and read the captions.

I didn't hear her say go natural though....maybe that was during one of the times I had the tv on mute with no captions at all.

Is she preaching about natural hair while wearing a fake afro?

And whats this MESS shes talking about.. You have to talk a certain way to wear an afro?!? There is NO criteria for wearing your hair natural!

Guess Mo' never stopped hollering long enough to listen to Professor Angela Davis ... world's most famous afro.

What about when you wear Bantu knots? Should your speech be wound up and bumpy? Complex and regal? This could get complicated.

Call me what you want but Monique is a HAM, she comes across as so fake on her show. She's all ready on TV, does she really think she needs to be THAT loud to get attention:bye:? I wish they put Wendy Williams back on it's regular time on BET!! Whoever gave that chick her own show needs to be taken out back and beaten! :spank: Ok I'm done
