Quick question ladies, Im new to this forum and Im trying to get my regime going. If I add oil to my liquid leave in conditioner will it still seal in the moisture or should i apply the leave in spray and then apply the oil to my ends? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Bumping for you.

From what I've read on LHCF, having the oil get on the hair first could seal the cuticles, and lock out the moisture that you'd be trying to get in from your leave-in. So, mixing them could potentially have that same effect. I would suggest putting the leave-in on first, then sealing with the oil.

I use a liquid spray leave-in too. I spray first and then apply coconut oil after.

Welcome, I do both. I usually moisturize first then seal with oil. If your hair is already moist when you apply your moisturizer/oil mix it will still seal in the moisture. The oil added to your moisturizer also aids as a softner.
