I'm not a big pic poster. I'm lazy

. But I put up a couple new photos after my blowout and trim and my new phony ponies.

You have beautiful hair Tai. I'm going to have to go for one of those dominincan blowouts one of these days. We could be hair twins, because your new growth looks exactly like mine.

Thanks, SilkyandSmooth. Get a blowout. I love the result but I still hate the hot dryer.

I have been searching for a hair twin. I was starting to think that I didn't have one.
Thanks, Alliyah. How is your transition going thus far?

It was going smoothly up until about a week ago. That's when the tangling started. I can no longer wash with shampoo w/o my hair getting tangled. I've stepped up my conditioner washes just to make the transition process a little bit easier. Other than the tangling issue, I have no major complaints. My hair is pretty easy to care for. I spray it with a mixture of water, glycerin and St. Ive's Extra Shine conditioner, slap on some gel and brush it back in a ponytail in the morning. At night, I moisturize with either ORS Olive Oil lotion or Elasta QP Mango Butter.

DITTO!

I'm jealous. You have the St. Ives Extra Shine. I think I'm going to have to break down and order a case from St. Ives.
My only problem is tangling, too. I moisturize w/ Lacio Lacio, then I use styling foam and coconut oil to get it in a bun. I'm trying to keep my ends moist so I'm doing the baggie method with healthy ends sealed with coconut oil.
I keep hearing it gets harder around the nine month mark.

Tai - your hair is lovely. I think we have similar hair also. Your new growth looks exactly like mine did at that stage of transitioning.

Thank you, Ms Portugal and Hairlove.

When I transitioned before my hair looked like KhaLesSta's and yours, Hairlove. I'm hoping that it turns out like that again but right now I don't know what to expect once I'm done.

Your hair looks great both curly and straight. That spiral pony phony is a dead on match- I can definitely see your hair being that long very pretty!

Tai,
Where did you get that spiral phony from. Its a dead on match! I have been wearing my flipped up pony for about 2 1/2 weeks. I think its time for a change.

Thank you, everyone.

Vet, I got both ponies from My Beauty Supply. They're on Inkster on Cherry Hill and Henry Ruff. They were pretty cheap, too.

That's the one. Near the Dollar Store. It's small but the phony selection is pretty good.

Thank you. The ponies make it so easy to keep my ends protected. I should have started using them right after I joined the board.
