How do you dye synthetic hair?

I'm trying to dye my phony ponies and my falls to match my new highlights, but much to my dismay, they aren't taking the color. Any ideas on what I should do because I can't seem to find any phony ponies that are already made to match my new color...

OH MAN!! lol! Thanks so much for telling me that or else I would have spent more money trying to dye this dumb ol pony tail...

Actually, contrary to popular belief, synthetic hair can be dyed - just not with regular hair dye and it can't be dyed lighter (from a darker color). You have to use a fabric dye for synthetic hair "a liquid fabric dye, such as Rit or Tintex, may be used to darken the color on synthetic wigs." - Problem is can you find a fabric dye the color you need...
There is some more info here:

I'm using wigs as my protective styling, so have been learning new stuff every day lol...
