EXACTLY!!!!!tiffers said:Apology or not, he was rude, and he knows DAMM well he didn't think your emails were spam. WHO responds to spam?!
It seems as though he doesn't give apistachio said:After reading your post early yesterday I sent them this email:
I read on a VERY popular haircare forum with 20,000+ members that someone from your company(maybe it was you) told a
woman to "go away" because her emails sounded like spam. First of all, if you're going to have a comment box for customers to ask questions, then don't get mad when they actually ask
them. Secondly, so what if she was asking lots of
questions? Did you ever stop to think that despite as much or as
little henna she bought this time, that she may come back and order even MORE henna from you in the future? Well, she's not coming back, and Me and others will never give you our business at all since you people have a hard time respecting people who's business fills YOUR pockets with money, not the other way around...
He replied:
Your right... Yes I did over react, I am on Spam overload these days, and
being human I do make mistakes.
If the forum wants to punish me then so be it.

From the sound of this, this a**hole didn't have a change of heart, he merely got called out on his behavior from a third party. If we wanna punish him "so be it" seems to me like he could careless, so "don't care", and go somewhere else who's more professional![]()

I plan on continuing to use venders like HennaSooq, who has a fantastic product, and is also a member of this board. I know she welcomes our business.

And unfortunately for him, it seems this is not an isolated incident, as someone else here had a similar experience with him. I wouldn't be surprised if there were others. His manner of apologizing and his "so be it" attitude just do not display good business sense. Personally, if that's the best he can do, then I wouldn't feel comfortable even contacting him to inquire about anything, let alone actually doing business with him. I don't care what his prices are. It's not about "forgiving" him, IMO. He can be completely forgiven without getting his lost business back. He will have to sort out his attitude so that he can do better in his customer service in the future.
ThursdayGirl said:If he still has a quality product...and you're getting a discount... He appologized, I don't see why you should hold a grudge. I would buy it - especially after all of the correspondences. Whether you continue to do business with him after this is up to you. I would go ahead and buy it if it has been stored well and is "fresh".
sareca said:I've loved my experience with mehndiskinart.com. His wholesale henna/indigo comes out to $1.66 vs $5.66 from other places. To me that's worth a little "misunderstanding."
Oh and from dealing with him I seriously doubt he read the other thread. He's definitely the type of guy to apologize if he's made a mistake. All people make them... if you haven't yet then keeping living.
Crysdon said:Give him a second chance. Isn't this the first time anyone has had problems with that vendor?
To err is human; to forgive is divine

sareca said:My sentiments exactly... We all want second, third and fifth chances.
fancypants007 said:You say you order your henna FNWL? How does it wash out. Does it take a long time. Are you pleased with it. Please let me know as I want to start ordering from them as well. Thanking you in advance.
sareca said:Then my bad, but I still don't think he just apologized to save face. I've had a least 4 or 5 conversations with this guy in the last 6 months. He's my absolute FAVORITE henna vendor. He's apologized for lots of things like nothing having what I wanted available or not getting more indigo in until this spring/summer (none of which I posted on any web forum anywhere). My point was only that he apologizes w/o any outside influence.
ETA: I mentioned this website to him and he didn't recogize the name (at the time).
marie170 said:I think that is great that you have good relationship with him. That might be because he has done business with you before and is familiar with you. He should have this attitude with EVERY customer, not just existing ones.

Cichelle said:I've ordered numerous times from FNWL. For a brief time I went on a Jamila kick but I did not like how long it took to get dye release, so I went back to FNWL. I keep my mixes basic with henna, a little conditoner and hot water. Occasionally I will add a bit of citric acid, but only a tiny amount. I get dye release fast. I never have to wait over night.
Now washing out is no problem for me BUT I SIFT MY HENNA. I think that might be why. Before I mix it, I put it in a mesh colander and tap it on the side with a spoon (or something) so that it goes out the bottom right into the bowl I'm going to mix it in. It's not harder to rinse than Jamila. YMMV, though.
I think it's best to call and ask them questions if you have any concerns about their henna. Also, you know I have to say it, always do a strand test.![]()
