Toque Emergencia Leave-In Intensive Conditioner for Blow Dry (rollerset with it-major slippage)
Star Purified Sheep Placenta Leave-In (been meaning to share this info for a while, but liking it-same people who make Lacio2)
Organix Vanilla Silk poo & con (smells like Hairveda's Vatika Frosting!)
Suave Humectant Con (did a CW, no complaints)

MOTHER OF ALL HITS
Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum :drunk::drunk::drunk:!!! I had NO hair in my rattail comb after rollersetting my entire head.

I am truly loving my Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage serum. I had to go out and purchase another bottle to have on hand.

I was on the fence at first too! How are you using it? It does not detangle my wet hair well, but I luvv it on dry hair (as a moisturizer, I seal this with JC nourish & shine) or already detangled wet hair. :yep:

I used it on damp hair and wetbunned. It did not help with detangling but my hair did feel soft. In the morning it was really dry though. Maybe I should try it on dry hair.

Hits
:yep:Vatika Frosting as an oil rinse (my hair loved this treatment)

Misses so far
:nono:Gro Aut Oil (caused my hair to shead too much for my taste)

:wallbash:Worst Misses in a While:
Biosilk Hydrating Shampoo-- You want some dry, tangled, stripped hair? Try this over-priced stuff. I was initially told it was mediocre, but this crap just plain suck. My dish detergent would have probably been more effective! This will be used as a household cleaner, in the bathtub, or on laundry!
Biosilk Hydrating Conditioner-- There was nothing hydrating about this this stuff! No slip, no moisture, and it only felt slightly better then the dry mess I was left with after the shampoo disaster!

Only positive thing I can say was I liked the texture, smell, and the fact that I got the whole set (including Silk Therapy and some styling gel) for $14.95 at Penny's a while ago. Too, major misses make you want to stick with the gems you already have!

Oh, and the Silk Therapy? Blah. It reeked of alcohol, was kinda watery, and my hair was pretty dull once dry. I can't accuse it of doing anything to my hair like the shampoo or conditioner, though. I know it can't come anywhere near my Mizani Spradiance or KeraCare Silken Seal. Heck, even the $2 Citre Shine serum I got from Big Lots the other day! Overall, Biosilk is the worst salon line I've EVER tried!

:lick:Major, Major Hit:
I mean, Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner aka Kenra MC... That stuff... Like, once I make my hair goal and make my emotional speech... Man, that stuff is right after God, you guys, and my genes! Even after I thought I needed to shave my hair off after Biosilk, I slapped some of this on and it was STILL hairgasmic. I thought I'd found love with Mizani Moisturefuse, but that must've been lust! You can't tell me there is anything better! So I've finally found my favorite moisturizing conditioner, heavy protein, oil, serum, setting lotion, styling sprays & creams, light protein, and shampoo. In the next month I'll know which nightly treatment reigns supreme and it will be all good.

Wow. Who knew my post would end up being this long??!! Sorry !

I am truly loving my Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage serum. I had to go out and purchase another bottle to have on hand.

Me too!

Hit:
Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage serum: this stuff is great, it actually helps to detangle my hair when fingerstyling. Leaves hair nice and smooth.

CHI Keratin Mist: Nice liquid leave-in, I like that it has a rosewater base, it's silicone free and has great ingriedients.

Also I know I mentioned this before but it bears repeating, Jason's Sea Kelp Shampoo is pure heaven! Smells nice, it moisturizes and is extremely gentle on my hair.

HIT!!!

Elasta QP Intense - great moisturizing conditioner!! :yep:

Thanks for the review. I definitely want a sulfate free poo like this. Will try.

boy do i second THAT.
I third it. I love this as a daily light moisturizer.

Hits:
Organix Vanilla silk and Coconut milk conditioners- smell so good, nicely moisturizing and detangling. I think the coconut milk makes for a nice light protein dose for elasticity. Really softened and made my ng easy to deal with. Not bad for free (BOGO + rebate)

You're welcome! I hope your hair likes it too.

Adding Sodium PCA to every bottle of Con in my shower!! ( and that's alot of conditioner people!) It improved the moisturzing capabilities of everything by about 200%.

Adding a clear rinse, and protein to my DC. I mix the protein and moisturizing elements together. Works beautifully and saves time. After one treatment I was rinsing my hair for an extra 5 minutes b/c it was so slippery I thought I still had condition in it!

Redken Heat Glide: I got the sample bottle, and I can already tell it's going to last forever. Light pleasant scent, left me with soft, smooth, shiny hair.

Vatika Oil: (con't hit) Yesterday my SO touched my forehead and said "When did you start growing baby hair?"

Comb Chase Method: My ends have never been so smooth and well behaved from flat ironing - I finally got a uniform straight texture through ALL my hair textures.

Major hits!

Paul Mitchell Super Charged Moisturizer:
I've been deep conditioning with this for the past few weeks and this one is definitely a major hit! It helps detangle my hair and it makes my hair soft, strong and silky smooth. I'm also 22 weeks post and it makes my new growth so soft and easy to comb! I'm glad I bought two big bottles of this stuff because I knew from the reviews that this would be good! I love this just as much as my beloved Mizani Moisturfuse.

Biolage Daily Leave-in Tonic: Great moisturizer!! Another great detangler and keeps my hair moisturized.

paul mitchell super skiny hair balm:grin:

Yeah that stuff is awesome! I use that with the super skinny serum. It also made flat ironing my hair soooo easy. I'm several weeks post relaxer and I got my roots straight with one pass when I used the balm and serum last weekend. I know that if I follow through with going natural that straightening will be very easy if I use those two products.

Reeeaaalllly? I love Miz Moist too. Now I'm interested in this PMSuper charged Moisturizer. So it is not a moisturizer but a conditioner? Or does it double as both?

Hits so far for me are:

Mega Tek Survivor Detangler
Mega Tek Rehydrant Spray
Honeyquat
Brahmi oil
Bhringraj oil
Hibiscus Petal Powder
Bhringraj powder
Fenugreek- oooooh lots and lots of slip as a strained tea rinse
BB Oil Moisturizer with Castor oil and aloe
BB growth moisturizing lotion

Misses:

Mega Tek Avocado Mist - this stuff is wayyyy to sticky and leaves my hair very dull looking. I might consider using it like adw in my treatments. I may need to go search for that Non-Growth Eqyss thread again to see exactly how she used it just to make sure.

Queen Helene Cholesterol - my hair did not get any slip with this at all

Sulumax - the smell was horrific, however I like the stimulation. I'm sure it works but I don't know if I can stomach the smell much longer.

Products I'm not sure of yet as I just started using them:

Mega Tek Cell Rebuilder - only been using 3 days so far

Indigo - used once so far. I found it to be extra drying when used separate from the henna. I will try mixing them together next time to see what happens.

HIT:
The brush that comes with the maxiglide! WOWOWOWOWOW! I used this after oiling my hair to prepare for my bun, and this thing stimulated my scalp and felt SOOO good. It doesn't tear through my hair but slides through! I love it!!!!! (only used on dry hair!)

It's a deep conditioner and it's part of the Moisture line. The instructions say to apply to damp hair and leave on for 3-5 mins and then rinse. I leave it in for 20 mins w/heat and then rinse. You should definitely try it! The great reviews on here swayed me and I also LOVE some of the other Paul Mitchell products I've tried. The ingredients in the PM Super Charged are excellent as well.

Thanks honey, this is going on my wish list for next month's purchase, lol. I know, I know, I already have enough hair stuff, but I can't resist this one.

HIT:

A really nice trim. I overcame my hairstylist fears and went in for a trim/to get my layers redefined. She did a good job. Initially I thought she cut off too much hair, but my hair has been heaven ever since. It's been 2 weeks and I have not seen ANY breakage because my raggedy ends are gone! *doing the cabbage patch*

Suave Humectant (Nexxus Humectress knockoff) as a leave-in. I've been leaving in a dollop of SH in my hair after washing and my hair stays nice, soft, and moisturized.

Garnier Fructic Melting Masque (Strength and Repair Line): It's a new product that caught my eye in Target yesterday. What pulled me in was the apricot + avocado oils + ceramides. Sounded heavenly. I put the masque on dry hair and let it sit overnight. It does what it claims. My hair felt very nourished and stronger afterwards. :yep:

CONTINUED HITS:

Chi Silk Infusion. I don't wash/cowash without it. This is my FAVORITE leave-in treatment EVER!

Cowashes for the summer
. My hair STAYS nice soft and moisturized.

MISS:

Mizani Rose h20 Conditioning Hairdress. I bought some because it was on sale at JCP. I've used it several times and my hair just feels coated and dry afterwards. I'm throwing it in the garbage. :nono:
