Hits: Elasta QP Mango Butter ...great for my edges and nape. I like how it makes my hair look and feel
&
Coconut Oil, I feel that it's really been helping these ends!

ETA: Working out & more water! Face is improving too!

Hits: No-shampoo, co-washing only. Suave Tropical Coconut Cond. and Suave Vanilla Floral Cond. I love this stuff, use it for co-washes, leave-in, and moiturizer sealed with coconut oil.

Miss: None since I'm sticking with what's working.

Hits

Nexxus Humectin as a daily moisturizer. My hair has never been so soft, and it detangles my hair so that I can (gasp!) comb it more often with no breakage.Very moisturizing!!!

Jojoba OIl-this is my first time using it. I loove it!

Just for me Smoothing Gel medium hold-a very moisturizing Gel. My wash and goes dry so much faster and it gives great definition without being dry.

Beeswax for edges-Ill use this fore ver on my edges from now on.

Hit:

Denman Heavyweight D5 Brush to detangle conditioner-soaked hair.

Miss:

White Rain coconut conditioner. Tried to CO wash with it but I don't like the synthetic-feeling filmy mask it leaves on my skin.

These are really April hits, but I didn't get around to posting and the KK I just tried yesterday anyway.

HITS:
Taliah Wajiid Protective Mist Bodifier (great detangler; great slip)
Kan Kanechomn karite butter leave-in*
Kan Kanechomn amazonian multi-herb leave-in*
White Rain Ocean Mist (contains several different kinds of algae and sea kelp and is a great conditioner from the Dollar Store)
Life Freshblend Honey Nut Conditioner (another Big Lots find)
Aphogee Green Tea and Keratin Restructurizer (I was in the BSS today and saw that the new formula has vegetable protein and not hydrolyzed keratin, so I will not be purchasing anymore unless I can find the old version.)

CONTINUED HITS:
VO5 Honeydew Smoothie conditioner
Cabellina Del Caballos (mane and tail conditioner)
Nature's Gate Jojoba Revitalizing conditioner
Suave Extreme Strength conditioner
Aloe vera gel (I add it to leave-in, protein condish, moisturizing condish and scalp concoction. I use every single day.)

MISSES:
Surya Henna anti-frizz (with acai extract) leave-in
Surya Henna maxiumum nutrition (with brazil nut) leave-in
(These are not really a miss, but the Surya color fixation and tucuma butter leave-ins are just so far superior to these that I will not be repurchasing.)

*I use together. They are as good as the Surya color fixation (with buriti oil) and volume reducer (with tucuma butter) leave-ins -- which I also use together --but the Surya leave-ins have many more great natural ingredients and the KK has a long list of chemicals, then the good stuff at the end, so I will not be re-purchasing. KK doesn't list their ingredients, so I couldn't check them out before purchasing, but they still gave me soft, detangled, hydrated hair.

Hits from the PJ Stash

Abba moisture scentsation shampoo
very moisturizing and soothes the scalp

Abba moisture scentsation conditioner
used as a "rinse" for a few minutes seemed to really add moisture to the hair and detangled my new growth. If only this was a deep conditioner.I think both of these are good for natural hair

Sunsilk straighten up creme-
bad ingredients (mineral oil/petroleum), but it did loosen up my ng (on dry dirty hair) which is good thing in a pinch. It says to use in addition to your usual styling product.

Organix Shea Butter conditioner

I had a run in with too much protein, and this conditioner brought my hair back to normal. My hair was so soft and smooth.

The smell was just...just dreamy. :love2:

Hits-

Silk Elements no-lye regular relaxer-- Super bone straight, super shiny, super soft hair EVERY time! Love it!

Jehan Pre-Poo oil--I will NEVER be without this! I've tried pre pooing with other oils and my hair hates it. This oil makes my hair so soft, and my ends feel fantastic!

Aphogee Two Step Treatment-- Even though that ''moisturizing'' conditioner does nothing (I ended up deep conditioning with some Silk Elements Revive & Restore after using it) my hair DID feel a lot stronger. My ends also felt fuller than usual. My hair's alrady thick, but after using Aphogee, it's super thick!

No misses as of yet, but I have some new stuff coming in tomorrow so I'll be sure to update :yep:

Aloe vera gel (I add it to leave-in, protein condish, moisturizing condish and scalp concoction. I use every single day.)

I love that conditioner!

Hits:
Jason Sea Kelp poo: This is a really nice poo, sulfate free and gentle too.
Jason Sea Kelp conditioner: This was a nice conditioner, not stellar though. It rinses cleanly and I had to use a lot of it. It was ok, I just won't be re-purchasing tho.
Spring trim: this has been my most aggressive trim since I've been on LHCF and I love it. It's nice to trim away damaged ends.

HITS:
Goody Styling Thearapy Brush....I have natural I think is 4b hair and when my hair is damp with product this detangles so well. Its amazing for detangling for naturals because the bristles are so soft and flexable it was a really good investment for me.

Star Purified Sheep Placenta Leave-In (been meaning to share this info for a while, but liking it-same people who make Lacio2)
Organix Vanilla Silk poo & con (smells like Hairveda's Vatika Frosting!)
Suave Humectant Con (did a CW, no complaints)

MOTHER OF ALL HITS
Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum :drunk::drunk::drunk:!!! I had NO hair in my rattail comb after rollersetting my entire head.

Thanks for the pic. It looks like a nice brush. Did you notice it had a button for a coupon?

See threads like this are not good for the PJ fiend like me. :lachen: This is not going to help me get through the "The BUY NOTHING for May 2008 Challenge". What is that they tell people in the 12 step programs....distance yourself from people that are bad influence (or something like that...) I may have to leave LHCF alone for while just to get through this challenge.

Nadia Fortifying Masque: Great Deep Conditoner/Light Protein Treatment

Baking Soda Rinse: Really cleans my hair. When I use my Keracare Hydrating, my hair feels so light and my hair now soaks up the conditioner so much better. Plus, my hair takes much longer to dry now. I think the porosity of my strand have improved so much in the last month.

Avo'Coco Lotion: This still helps to strengthen my edges & nape.

I was on the fence at first too! How are you using it? It does not detangle my wet hair well, but I luvv it on dry hair (as a moisturizer, I seal this with JC nourish & shine) or already detangled wet hair. :yep:
