Maxiglide HSN Package deal

my maxiglide is waiting for me at home! I cant wait to get home and hug it (not plugged in of course!).

That is strange. They don't ship to canada, but they ship from Canada?
I wanted in on this deal so bad, I had to get a fellow LHCFer to get one for me and ship it out to Canada.

Oops! I think it is Ontario, California not Canada :look:. Hey, I never claimed to be geographically savvy :lol:.

I saw Ontario, CA and immediately assumed Canada. My bad! :giggle:

i did. the shampoo kinda made my hair tangly(squeaky clean), but the conditioner was nice enough.
i also used the straightening serum along w/ my Fantasia IC heat protectant...it was ok as well. did not use the shine/polish stuff or whatever its called.

i think the products are ok- nothing to write home about!

What are the best heat protectant products to use with t his flat iron? I will shampoo and deep condition with Aubrey Organics Honey Sucklerose then deep condition with Mega-Tek I might even do an oil treatment the night before with a mixture of olive oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, amla oil and jojoba oil before I start my shampoo and conditioning phase. But I don't have a good heat protectant other than what came with the Maxiglide. I wonder if I can get the same great results everyone else is having. I will be doing this on Dec 30/31 for my length check.
 
All of these threads with beautifully shiny maxiglided hair is making me :drool: over here! I just bit the bullet and placed my order with express delivery for Christmas Eve! :yay: So if the Maxiglide is all that it's cracked up to be, I will spend this holiday (12 weeks post texlax) looking like :gorgeous:

Ok, I just bought the maxi-glide package!! I was trying to avoid doing this. But with the $20 off coupon it was only about $60.

Plus I was in the maxi-glide thread....and me and my natural 4a hair NEED THIS!!!
 
My MaxiGlide has arrived! Woo who! I don't feel like flat ironing my hair though until Spring :ohwell:.

I have tried to use mine several times and it just does not work for my hair and I am ready to give up.. I believe I have the MP w/ the ministyler but I will know the exact model number on Sunday. I still have the orginal boxes that everything came in. So if anyone wants to purchase them, please PM me. Especially if you are in the Atlanta area.. Merry Christmas!!!

Maybe you should return it. Didn't it come with a UPS return shipping label? Call/email them and ask what their return policy is. It'll be easier to do business with them versus a board member, IMHO.
 
I got mine about a week or so ago but I am reall enjoying the no heat styling options right now, in particular the twist out. :yep:

I am doing a one year stretch and in April I am going to see my stylist for a quick dusting so I will just use it then. I will be 7 mos. by then. It wont be too hard cause I will be weaving it up by 15 Jan.
 
So I think I'm sending my MP back and just keeping my original old maxiglide. This iron is not straightening my hair like my old iron. I have no idea why. It actually frizzes my ends up as opposed to my old iron which straightens like a relaxer:perplexed.
 
I wish they had the XP as a package deal; I tried this MP and it was really time consuming. I had to make so many sections because my hair was so thick after 10 weeks post. Another thing I didn't like was the fact of me using it at the 7 or 8 heat level just to get my hair pin straight.
 
I got my maxi a few days ago and I'm going to be doing my hair as soon as I finish exercising today. I can't wait.
 
My SO surprised me with this package for Christmas. Yaay!! I love him mucho! OMG I was so excited. I haven't used the Maxiglide MP yet but I have used the Miniglide that came with it, and that thing is the bomb. It got my edges so straight, it got hot soooo quick, this is perfect for roots and edges, and there is no fear of burning yourself like with a traditional pressing comb. I absolutely love that Miniglide and i'm sure I will love the Maxiglide as well.
