Mastering the Rollerset....

Very, very beautiful. I still have not mastered the art all. I still takes me an hour to rollerset my hair. I love it when my sister does. All I do is sit back and let her work instead of me.

I've found the less leave-ins I use, the easier it is for me. I apply Santa Fe Serum to sopping wet hair and lots of UBH Dew Spray Moisturizer. Then I let my hair drip dry for about 5-10 mins. Then I detangled w/a Wide Tooth comb and begin attacking my rollerset. If my hair start to dry, I just spray some more water (instead of spraying on more leave-in). I actually followed another lady's advice on this board. Less leave-ins is better.

WOW, it looks GREAT!! i can't master a rollerset to save my life:perplexed but i do use aveda anti-humectant.......hmmmm..never thought to use that on a rollerset though. I will have to try it, that makes sense though, it keeps the frizzies out. a little goes along way with that stuff

Thanks ladies I was out of town so I wasnt able to reply;) . You all are so supportive and I've learned a lot from you all on here. I wouldnt be able to do a "OK" rollerset if it wasnt for you all:D I did another rollerset tonight...its my new favorite thing. This time I used Light elements by Aveda (a sample from the store). No frizzy ends and my hair was a lot bouncier and shiney. I slacked off on the back but Im not going anywhere so Im happy w/ the results and finding the right products. Thanks again:p

I really hate rollersetin;) sometimes my hair act like it dont have sense especally when it getts so DRY/TANGLE during wash day.

It was something that I didnt like at first but with the right products and time I am falling in love with it. Your hair is beautiful!!!:)

Your rollerset looks very pretty! I too use a little Anti-Humectant to seal in the moisture on all of my hair before rollersetting. :)
