Miss

Not being able to start wash day.
Miss For Me Also @shawnyblazes :

I'm having the same issue. We have a death in the family and my day tomorrow is already taken up with family. I may not be able to do anything until Monday and I really need to hendigo my hair urgently. My gray hairs are screaming for some color.

That was my issue LAST week. Nothing is going to stop my henna tomorrow.

Hits:

Olaplex #4 Shampoo & Olaplex #3 - Have some heat damage and it has been helping. I have already seen some changes. I have been using #3 overnight (as recommended by my hair stylist) and the shampoo is just wonderful. A little goes along way, lathers nicely and leaves my hair feeling moisturized & soft and not stripped at all.

Shea Butter - Been using it for about 2 months now and my ends are looking healthier. My hair stays moisturized longer.

:yep: Agreed with all this.

Continued hits:

SHEA BUTTER WHIPPED

Tentative hits:
Pantene pro‑v gold hydrating Butter‑Creme
Pantene pro‑v gold leave on detangling milk
These two Pantene products smell sooo good I’m trying the butter cream on my flat ironed hair

Miss:
As previously mentioned
Deva curl heaven in hair
The smell was horrid and my hair felt really really weird after returned

Hit: Jlexillc Fenugreek dc. It's in a jar now. The only issue is that I can't detangle with it. But after leaving it in for 2 hours, my hair was soft and silky. Still not sure it's a repurchase.

Adding Bhrinraj to my Henna mix. My crown hair stopped shedding instantly.

On the fence:
Jlexillc scalp serum. This stuff stinks. I put some on my scalp overnight and I kept waking myself up. Definitely just a 2 hour prepoo.

Still a hit
Bekura Buttermilk, Mousse and Behari water.
Jlexillc hair butter. Expensive for the amount. But it makes my hair so shiny.

NEW HIT:

You know that Banyan Botanicals Bhringaraj oil really does make me sleep like a baby. I think I like it a lot :yep:.

Note:

Not suggested to use and stay on the scalp for more than an hour to three hours in winter months since it has a cooling effect and can make persons prone to colds and flu, sick.

Continued Hit: Wetline Extreme gel (it goes w/ multiple leave-ins & doesn't take forever to dry)

Hit: TMC Tropical Moringa Endless Moisture Sealing Cream

Thanks to Lita for helping me w/ this one. I use it as the C in LCO or as a leave-in underneath gels.
It has a little slip, which is just enough to help get some stragglers (shed hair, tangles/knots). It's very moisturizing. It definitely held-up in the winter, & now early spring.

Hit

Afro Whisperer Sugar foot shortening

softening , silky feeling, sheen for days, sank right in. winner winner chicken dinner

Sprouted Curlies Banana Cream

Yum, thick, moisturizing , softening, with steam, it got the job done

Miss

Getting my kinky twists installed. A long drawn out ordeal. I'll have to find another braiding salon in 8 weeks.

Neither hit nor a miss
Revair - I was expecting the hair gods to start singing. It was okay and honestly I got the same result that I usually get with stretching my hair. I will give it that it was quicker. I just wasn't impressed with the price versus the bulkiness/hose/noise

Bekura Beauty

Leche De Babasu Hair drench , my hair was okay as I was applying it. It wasn't extra soft, it wasn't moist feeling until I put another dc on top and hit it with steam

APB Hydration Leave In conditioner

Super moisturizing on wet/damp hair but when it dried, it was meh.

Miss:
Curls Blueberry Bliss twist and Shout cream, it leaves my hair a little dry which I am pretty sure is due to the coconut oil.

Hit:
Camille Rose Almond Jai, it has soften my twist nicely, its a little to heavy for my fine hair but I still really like it.

Found 3 medium size jar of Wetline gel original formula
