this is the perfect way to transition

they've all gone!!

i feel sooooo out of place

when i first joined a fair few years ago, it was nothing but solid advice from black women with thick long hair and years of experience

now i'm NOT saying newbies cannot have the same traits and cannot teach us new things

i'm saying that its always comforting to be taught sometimes then to throw around opinion and tackle somebodies advice that worked for them

theres a few sceptics lurkin around that can make everyone feel quite pessimistic

i'm sure were all looking for the same thing

advice that works that we can all afford and do at home

it just seems to be on a tangent right now *sigh*

I guess the trill is gone, for the vets. I wish someone would round them up so they can teach us a thing or two. Maybe a reunion:grin:. Do you believe once they have reached your goals the passion for hair advice/ teaching fades?

Don't get me wrong i have gotten excellent advice since i started. However i still find myself in the archives (03) working my way up to 08 to see how things was done several years ago.

Sorry about going of the topic of your cornrolls.... But you touched on a subject i'm passion about.

how is the business going? did you manage to sort out the problems you were facing with customers, suppliers etc?

do you just stick to canerows now? what products are you using? still the indian stuff?

:ohwell:i heard something about jamaicans calling it canerows as it looks like sugar cane...

and Americans calling them cornrows as they look like corn? :perplexed

it made sense at the time but i cant remember now, lol
