Healthy Hair Quest..
Someone posted a thread asking about a moisturizer for naturals and I recall the naturals ladies mentioning something called 911. Of course that's not Emergencee....exactly what is it and where can I get it?

Honestly, I prefer making my own hair products. If I were you, I would really invest in some Unrefined Shea Butter. It's extracted from shea nuts in Africa. I've had a hard time keeping my hair moisturized in the past, and my natural hair made it even harder. My problems were solved with shea butter /images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm sorry I don't anything about the 911 stuff, though. Try doing a search.

Try

Aussie Moist Conditioner
Dove Intense Moisture
Dily Defense Tender Apple Conditioner

These conditioner have made a hugh difference in the way my hair feels
I love them all !!!

Thanks for the responses.

My husband bought me some SheaMoisture Leave-In. That worked really well in moisturizing my daughter's natural hair and it detangled it. However, I was just curious about that post I read. I wanted to see what that 911 stuff was all about. It was only about a week or so ago. Oh well....

I read that thread too and was trying to bump it for you, but it seems to be buried.

I have had experience with 911. It's a very good liquid leave-in, but because I've been using Surge revitalizer, I haven't used it in a long time.

There were two formulas, a regular and an extra dry formula. I found the extra dry to be too much for me (a little heavy, almost greasy), but I have nothing bad to say about them. When I was relaxed, that product was a staple and maintained my ends well until I started abusing the curling iron.

I just ordered some of that Shealoe butter.. Do you think that will work? I bought it with some of that FNWL's Rosemary Hair Oil Blend, Sweet Almond Oil and Lavender..I was going to make some kind of concoction with them all.. do you think that will work for moisture? The Lavender was mainly to make a lavender spray..but I was gonna put a little in there for the fragrance also..

Thanks!
