Thanks Frankie! It's hard to walk away from the scissors. But in my before pics my ends looked horrible and I didn't cut them once. But looking back I don't know how, they were looking horrific.:perplexed My ends got stronger with the protein treatment and improved. I'm still working on them though.

where do you buy your pills? i have only seen the liquid online

I buy mine at vitamin shoppe or vitaminshoppe.com. It's 23.45 for 180 capsules. I tried the liquid but it tastes , even if I try to mix it. The capsules are just more convenient for me anyways.

Let me know if you find it.

Ohmigoodness!! Thank you sooooo very much!! Let's see my regime....

In the very beginning I washed every three days religiously, and I still try to do that but I get lazy and busy. But I never go longer than a week without washing. I deep condition everytime I wash with UBH conditioner. That conditioner has done wonders with helping me retain length. I really think thats where my progress has come from. I use my K cutter to comb my hair out under running water although Cathy says to comb after it dries...I do my own thing though:lol:. I usually let it air dry, or sometimes I'll blow out the roots lightly Once my hair is dry I flat iron and usually just wear it like that. When I want big hair or some body I use the caruso rollers. I moisturize with NTM and the amla oil lite. I also spray with a moisturizing oil sheen by Proclaim. I prepoo with Dabur Amla and my Ojon stuff the night before and sleep with a conditioning cap. I'm always trying new things...I'm a product junkie!!

Besides that I havent trimmed since I started on my journey. I might have lightly dusted twice, but I think that has contributed to my length. When I finally hit waist length and find someone I trust I'll do a good trim, but I don't think my ends look terrible. I was on Bella Nutri for six months(my second attempt) and I do think that has contributed somewhat, but its hard to tell bc I've also taken Andrew Lessman's Healthy Hair, Skin, and Nails. Right now I'm not taking anything, when it comes to growth aides my problem is consisitency!

Umm what else...I've never done any protective styling. I wear my hair down 99% of the time. It seems like the longer it gets the easier it is to style. You can just let it hang.

Now the UDO oil is what I think may have contributed to growth the most. It has a combination of Flaxseed, Sunflower, Sesame, coconut, evening primrose, bran, oat germ, and soy oils...whew, that's a lot! The problem is that you take 6 pills a day! But I found this to be much cheaper than Bella Nutri, and its good for your whole body. The biggest jar costs about 23.00, and it lasts for a month. So $23/$65 .....so I role with the Udo Oil:lachen:.

Since I try to wash twice a week, and I deep condition with protein twice a week, one of those washes I use Cholesterol for moisture. I try to make sure that protein/moisture thing is balanced. I think thats it....oh wait I've been streeeetching! My last stretch was supposed to be like 16 weeks, but I got to week 13, and plus I was underprocessed so I had to give in. But that stretching has done wonders, even if I go to 12 weeks. It has made my hair and even my ends thicken up a whole lot!

So I would say the main things have been, Deep conditioning with protein after every wash, streetching to atleast 12 or more weeks, prepooing, and not blowdrying my whole head(only the roots)

GG, is this the oil that you are talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/IMPROVE-YOUR-HEALTH-UDOS-3-6-9-OIL-BLEND-250ML_W0QQitemZ170059111909QQihZ007QQcategoryZ11776QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

or this http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=FL-1071

there's different brands and I just wanna know in case my pj urge BLOWUP.

Lol:lachen:.Yes those are both it. They have liquid and capsules. I usually buy the big jar of capsules and that lasts me a month. The liquid is probably better because it absorbs faster, but I ended up not using mine.

songbyrd517~ Thanks and thanks for welcoming me!

SherryLove~Thank you! Your hair is amazing! I hope to be that length oneday. Yes I try to keep the scissors away. I know my hair might not be perfectly even, but I know it's not damaged either. I'll continue dusting but when I do get a serious trim it'll be by somebody I really trust....like my mom:).

Beautiful.

It's great progress like this that makes my daughter run away from me. Everytime I see such beautiful results, I want to moisturize her hair.

Your hair is so beautiful! I love to see progress pictures because it gives me hope.

I can't wait to show my progress in a few months. I've made great progress since I first decided to go natural about 3 years ago. I wish I had been on this board when I first started my transition because I'm sure I'd be at bra strap already.
