Ohmigoodness!! Thank you sooooo very much!! Let's see my regime....

In the very beginning I washed every three days religiously, and I still try to do that but I get lazy and busy. But I never go longer than a week without washing. I deep condition everytime I wash with UBH conditioner. That conditioner has done wonders with helping me retain length. I really think thats where my progress has come from. I use my K cutter to comb my hair out under running water although Cathy says to comb after it dries...I do my own thing though:lol:. I usually let it air dry, or sometimes I'll blow out the roots lightly Once my hair is dry I flat iron and usually just wear it like that. When I want big hair or some body I use the caruso rollers. I moisturize with NTM and the amla oil lite. I also spray with a moisturizing oil sheen by Proclaim. I prepoo with Dabur Amla and my Ojon stuff the night before and sleep with a conditioning cap. I'm always trying new things...I'm a product junkie!!

Besides that I havent trimmed since I started on my journey. I might have lightly dusted twice, but I think that has contributed to my length. When I finally hit waist length and find someone I trust I'll do a good trim, but I don't think my ends look terrible. I was on Bella Nutri for six months(my second attempt) and I do think that has contributed somewhat, but its hard to tell bc I've also taken Andrew Lessman's Healthy Hair, Skin, and Nails. Right now I'm not taking anything, when it comes to growth aides my problem is consisitency!

Umm what else...I've never done any protective styling. I wear my hair down 99% of the time. It seems like the longer it gets the easier it is to style. You can just let it hang.

Now the UDO oil is what I think may have contributed to growth the most. It has a combination of Flaxseed, Sunflower, Sesame, coconut, evening primrose, bran, oat germ, and soy oils...whew, that's a lot! The problem is that you take 6 pills a day! But I found this to be much cheaper than Bella Nutri, and its good for your whole body. The biggest jar costs about 23.00, and it lasts for a month. So $23/$65 .....so I role with the Udo Oil:lachen:.

Since I try to wash twice a week, and I deep condition with protein twice a week, one of those washes I use Cholesterol for moisture. I try to make sure that protein/moisture thing is balanced. I think thats it....oh wait I've been streeeetching! My last stretch was supposed to be like 16 weeks, but I got to week 13, and plus I was underprocessed so I had to give in. But that stretching has done wonders, even if I go to 12 weeks. It has made my hair and even my ends thicken up a whole lot!

So I would say the main things have been, Deep conditioning with protein after every wash, streetching to atleast 12 or more weeks, prepooing, and not blowdrying my whole head(only the roots)

Thanks so much for that detailed regimen.:) I was waiting on you to check back in!

Lol sure your welcome...it took me awhile to think it all out, it becomes so routine after awhile! Anything else I think of I'll add.

Your hair is beautiful and your progress is amazing, especially with no protective styling! That Udo Oil is supposed to be very good and I think it comes in a liquid too. I heard the founder of it on several health radio talk shows over the years.
I too use the Cathy Howse method (no heat though) since I started my haircare journey as well as learning from LHCF almost 3 1/2 years ago now. I still wash every 3 -4 days.

Ekomba and Kinikakes - you both look gorgeous in your siggies!!

your results are amazing! If I didnt see pictures w/ my own eyes I wouldnt believe- you went from shoulder to MBL in a year!!!! Congrats!!!!

Thanks for dishing your regimen

Now that's some progress. Thanks for coming out of lurk mode, to share progress and regime. Your progress is encouraging.

Great progress. You have really come along way in under a year. You've got some super fast growin' hair:) With that growth you'll be at waist length in no time.

Girl, your hair grew a lot. I would love to have hair that thrives like this. I think i might have to try and find that Amla oil cause it has been raved about a lot on this forum

Thanks alot! Yes the Udo oil does come in a liquid. I started with that first, but I just couldn't get it down.:( It was so much to take. You have to take so much a day, but it is very good for you.
