Long Hair Secrets ...

I came across that Kelli Hu site last week or the week before. I subscribed to have advice/tips sent to my email and Im about to unsubscribe since I have already learned these and other helpful "secrets" :rolleyes: from LHCF. It's taking up more room in my mailbox. Yeah, I dont think I will buy this book but would also love to hear from somebody who has.

Are you like me? Do you do searches looking for long silky or long thick hair, straight, curly, wavy, whatever just as long as it's long and beautiful? I love looking at hair, I think I love it too much.

{ the other day I came across a video and it was a couple of ladies with long hair playing in each others hair, and I think the video was more for men to look at...seemed a lil freaky and weird to me, but their hair was beautiful though. that must've been the real hair porn :look: }

At this point and out of all the books that I have read (Cathy Howse included), I have learned more from the women of the LHCF than I have anywhere else. I would rather read from women who have actually experienced hair growth, breakage, shedding, what to do, what not to do, the steps and methods they've used, versus someone writing a book, and haven't experienced half of what we have been through on this board. These are real live testimonies from women of the LHCF who post pictures, give status update reports, and more importantly, support each other throughout. And, it only cost me 6.50 per year, not per book.
And to me, mix better hair potions than the ones on the market. My $0.02.

I agree 100%. I was just curious to see what it said. It irks me when something is a secret. Lucky I'm cheap. I wouldn't join LHCF for the longest time b/c it was too expensive!!! :lachen:

Post it! lol I wanna see the hair porn. :lachen:

I haven't read the book either.

I haven't look into her book because I feel there is no need. Every thing I have ever needed to know has been found right here on LHCF. There is a wealth of knowledge here.:yep:

I was totally ignorant about hair care; :drunk:even though I was doing some things right, but I wasn't aware of it until I read Wanakee's brochure. So when I stumbled on this board, I learned other things that were helpful.

Just go to youtube and type "long hair" or "silky hair" in the box and you will be surprised some of the things that will pop up. I think that particular video was called "long silky hair girls" or something like that. And I came across videos of all these ladies sitting in chairs with REALLY long hair draped over the back of the chair touching the floor or almost touching the floor. It was shocking to see all those repunzels (though I do remember someone posting a link to Indian repunzels.) These ladies' hair was beautiful though and you can tell they take good care of it. I actually watched a lady brush her hair for quite a few minutes lol --and then I was like why am I just mesmerized watching this lady sitting here brushing hair...darn i've got problems, this is nuts. I saw this one video where a lady wrapped her hair around her head like it was a scarf--I thought it was cute (Gorgeous silky hair) and I can't wait for the day when i can do that with my length, not that I'll go outside with it though. I was also on google just looking at pics of Tia & Tamera hair. Tia has been wearing hers straight lately and I guess tamera has been either curly or straight, but they both look so pretty and I luv their hair. LOL I need to take my hair addicted self to bed now.
