List of Long Term Transitioners??

Do we have a list compiled of members that have been transitioning for 1+ years, and not planning to big chop? If not, could we compile one? I'd love to know who all is in the same boat with me. We can help inspire each other on those days when we feel the strong urge to big chop or relax.:ohwell::look:

Expected Time to Get Rid of Relaxed Ends
I have 5" of relaxed ends left. I've been getting my hair cut / trimmed since April 9, 2008. When my natural hair is shoulder length (NOT STRETCHED), I may get rid of my relaxed ends. Then again, they're holding up so well.

Not sure. Planned to chop at one year but haven't trimmed at all. I feel like the relaxed ends are taking all the abuse and protecting my natural hair. I don't know if that's logical at all.

I'm not at 12 exact months yet, but I don't see why I shouldn't be counted :)

I don't get into the "typing system" Let's say... curly, wavy, and straight :(

Expected Time to Get Rid of Relaxed Ends
Had a 2-inch trim (unwanted) in June and another unwanted one last month... don't plan to start trimming ends again until Fall '09.
(absolutely NO BC for 2-2.5 yrs)

Expected Time to Get Rid of Relaxed Ends
When I reach MBL of natural hair. But chances are by the time I get there my relaxed hair will be gone since I am now planning to do frequent trims just for health and shape.

Thanks ladies!! I didn't know there were so many of us. It seems like everytime I log in, someone else has BC. This is nice to see.

trying to decide. At first I said with full ponytail. Going to have it flat ironed for length check

Nice blog Allandra! I really like the Paul Mitchell skinny line when I'm straightening and have a lot of new growth.

I'm not sure the wet bun would work for me though...I have so much shrinkage it sould probably turn into a matted mess if I did that, LOL.

I have one but my face pics look horrible. too embarrassed to share right now, but my siggy pics basically say it all.

Expected Time to Get Rid of Relaxed Ends
NEVER! I think they just drop off as ur hair sheds. When/if my ends become too uneven (havent trimmed in 10 months) or when im PAST WL, maybe - lol.

I wear my hair in a wet bun too. I did get quite a bit of breakage at the demarcation line but I just told myself- "Well I'm going to chop that anyway."

I feel that way about breakage too! I know that's probably not the best way to think, but....

My hair is WAY too thick for buns. :ohwell: I don't know how the naturals w 4whatever hair do it. I have a sew-in right now.
