Hey Ladies!!!
I know - that in some respect - we have all tried move forward in our 'Hair Story'
In that regard - some things work for MOST- and many things don't work at all!!!!
I got a list....Not that long - but here goes.
1. Shea Butter
Lord ha'mercy............this stuff is awful on my hair.... I know many people love it. But boy - it makes my hair Crunch big time. I got 5 lbs of it - and I guess I will be making gifts this summer.... Shea lotion...
2. HENNA..............
Ok - after 2 tries.... I feel like my hair is wierd feeling....Cassia is great..But henna - is leaving much to be desired.
Looser Texture??? Nope. Split ends reduced??? um - nope.
After my next henna treatment - This will be my last dance with it.... I have to do it - to get my hair Black again....
Henna is not for me... and I got a whole Box of that...........
I need cassia!
What about you ladies? What was the Bees Knees for the board - but no for you???
I'd like to give a big HELL NO to Shescentit Seyani Butter please, thanks.
I'll give another hell no to AOHC. Thanks.
I'll give the last hell to the no for the night to Aphogee ANYTHING. Take care, drive home safely.
I have really dry hair (or I used to) and I haven't experienced any drying from henna. So don't be afraid to give it a try, just try mixing it without all the fancy additives but use lots of water instead. If you are really worried about it being drying, Indian ladies recommend coating your hair with oil first than using it but you won't get as much color this way if that is a concern.
My hair gets very tangly when dry too, it kind of sticks to itself. Every shampoo I have tried does this which is why I avoid poo whenever possible. Henna actually made my hair detangle easier. I wash my hair with a baking soda/honey mix, towel squeeze my hair, than apply the henna that I develop with water and some ACV. I plan to use just water in the future.
