Honestly I would not wear that to a date. We all know the difference between men style and women style.A man cannot appreciate an outfit like that at all.
If it was a full on dinner or another event I would have worn heels. But dessert at TGIF you get flats.

I prefer something that is fitted up top and looser at the bottom for first date looks .. loose tops makes me (anyone w/ relatively larger boobs ) look bigger than I really am

Lol... This is where my problem comes in! I have a date tonight and it's currently snowing and snow boots are not appropriate for a date!Great thread but ya'll must be living in Southern Cali.

You don't have any type of boots? I think any boots would be fine in snow as long as there's traction and they're scotch guarded or however you spell it lol

All4Tris I got it on Amazon actually. Its called the Ladies High Low Hem Casual Tunic Shirt. lol Its clearly manufactured from China (hence pic). I never trust Asian brand-wear, but when I saw this I loved it.
Reviews are not so great, but I was not complaining cause it me like a glove. I think its much more suitable for curvy types.

Y'all have such conservative looks for a first date. I dress like I was running errands and threw some pretty shoes on, but admittedly I play for keeps. We eventually fall into a pattern like " hey, you noticed we been chilling like this for 5 months?"
The last date was a movie date. I wore a super man shirt, jeans and some five inch sparkly silver heels. My hair was big, curly and tri color. I made sure my heels casually poked him on occasion lol.

My mate was an assistant director at my school. Other dates were musicians and a CFO. I am known for a "fun" look. changing hair color, wearing nerdy pieces with sexy accents, a moderate to high heel and majority of the time my glasses, because if we rolling you are going to have to get used to them. I am quiet, yet spontaneous. I will tickle you if there is too much silence on the first date.
I tend to dress in neutral tones because of my hair/ makeup. If we must be formal red lips, a lbd and still colored hair. Right now, since I have a lot of meetings, I am grey lol. The safest color I have been was true black. Next month is teal.

Love your hair! I work in a very "stiff" environment so I couldn't do that unless I was on some super long vacation.
