LENGTH WHEN FIRST RELAXED?

How long was your hair when it was first relaxed if ever?

When I first got my hair relaxed about 2 years ago it was to the bottom of my neck.

I am know 16 year old. I got my first relaxer when I was 12. I was about 2 inches shorter than I am know. Bra Strap on me is 23 inches so bra strap then I think whould be about 21 inches and it was past that so I am guessing it was about 23- 24 inches, (past bra strap). My hair is 18 inches know and my first goal is bra strap by next April, then Belly botton it my final goal. I think how long your hair was when your were younger dosn't tell you about how long your hair can grow (I think everyone can get between bra strap and waist lenght) but I do think it tells you something about your growth cycle and hair type.

I got my first relaxer when I was 9.I am know 26 year old.
I am guessing it was about bra strap to waist lenght, but I`m not sure,It's been so many years.

My hair was about shoulder length when I first relaxed (i was 17) by the next year I was a little bit below brastrap (because I only had one trim and didnt use heat for the whole year. Then I chopped it of into a cute bob!!!

I was 10, it was bra-strap. I remember looking sideways at the mirror and being shocked at how long it was. Of course the stylist then cut off about 2-3 inches so it ended up like 3 inches past shoulders.

Anyhoo, I was only a little past shoulder length when I first relaxed. I don't remember how old I was, but I believe I was in middle school.

It was originally about midback natural. My mom "trimmed" it because of split ends and then it was a little past bra-strap before it was cut during the 1st relaxer process. I had a perm and a "style"..I was so naive then.

My mother loves to tell me how much longer and healthier my hair was pre-relaxer..Despite the fact that my hair is still very healthy, I just have to get from bra strap to midback.

It was a LONG time for me too, but I clearly remember that even after the cut and style, my hair was mid-back length. I was 13 years old.

i was 8, my hair was bra strap. it stayed that way until last september when a SSH cut it to my neck. i should have sued!!

I don't really remember either. I know it was at least a few inches below shoulder length but other than that, I can't really remember.
