My sorority had a formal this weekend, and I wanted to do something different with my hair. One of my sorors was like "Why don't you get layers?" I don't know why I agreed (but in my defense, I had had about 5 hours of sleep in 2 nights... ), but I did.
I've always been a little afraid to cut layers because I thought that my hair was too fine and that it would make my ends look thin, but I've found that that's not the case. My hair has more movement, is easier to detangle and looks fuller. And I can still do my bun.
One of my LS's snapped this pic. I didn't know she was taking it, so I'm not really sure what I'm saying, but this pic made me really happy that I got layers.
