ok we r in the final stretch for this hair growing year. are you doing anything differently?

i am fully wigging it. and bagging 24/7
dcing once a week
and iam going to do my best not to touch up my cornrows this month.
 
I'm keeping my hair in twists (with the ends hidden)
DC weekly
Taking horsetail and MSM
Baggy nightly
Oil scalp with JBCO every other night

And a whole lot of praying. :pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:
 
I will be getting my hair tree-braided next week. I plan to keep them in 2 months.

This should help me retain during my winter growth spurt.
 
I'm bunning it everyday. I won't be able to baggy for a little while because I don't have a phony pony to cover it with though. I'm less optimistic than I would be if I were able to baggie. I'm also being very diligent with my vitamins and dcing'. I'm gonna do a length check on NYE.

In addition,I'm eating healthier w/ lots of protein, taking my supps, and exercising

Im doing the same!! Making my own half wigs for easy hair access. I'm oiling and massaging my edges/nape very night. And also being consistent with the moisturizing.
 
I'm gonna push for more exercise, so I can get myself ready for my 2012 exercise regimen. Other than that, continue eating tofu and protien (eggs, etc), and wash 2x a week. my DCs will be more intense this month since it's gettting colder, and i need to DRINK WATER LIKE ITS MY JOB!!

*praying for an inch of growth between now and Jan 1! JUST ABOUT 100% NATURAL AND ADORING EACH MOMENT OF IT!
 
Wigged it all year over a durag...
I'll take msm daily I accidentally took 16000 mg (i mistook a tablespoon for a teaspoon and I still feel fine)
I'll be embracing creme of nature argan oil shampoo and their nourishing and strengthening conditioner weekly
I'll continue dry detangling and taking my countrylife maxi
Trying to stick with working out...
Been drinking 8 cups of water...
 
I will dc with heat at least once a week and apply my jbco/sulfur mix and also baby my ends. I want to see one inch before I go back overseas. Good luck everyone!!
 
i started in november but will be adding in a few things:
i use an oil mix on my hair 2-4 times a week. its evco (infused with nettle, lavender and horsetail), castor, grapeseed, evoo, kukui, and meadowfoam oils.
i'm trying to use my homemade sulfur mix 2-4 times a week.
i plan on buying some qhemet biologics amla and olive heavy cream and apply this 2-3 times a week before putting my oil mix on my hair. (this may become a year around thing)
i will still pre-poo and do my hardcore protein treatments every 4-8 weeks like usual.
instead of dusting every 6 months i'll be going 3-4 months now, trying to get over the hump of mbl (when i get here i have to cut back to bsl for varying reasons not trimming often enough or dryness).

if i can find someone in manhattan or brooklyn to do 2 strand twists on my hair with no hair added, i may get them done at least twice this winter and keep them in 2-3 weeks each time.:yep::yep:

I've been in braids since the first week of September and I plan on staying braided up until the 14th. I've been drinking at least a liter of water every day and taking my vitamins. I've also been applying my MT/JBCO mix twice a day to my hairline so it'll continue to fill in.

This is not a game :lol:
 
I've been massaging with castor oil daily
Keeping my ends off my clothing
And keeping my hair coated in a layer of some kind of oil so they play nice together
No heat
And I'll probably pull out the half wig again next week. I'm tired of not being able to baggy and DC like I want to
And drinking water like crazy

Starting this weekend I'll be back to wiggin it. Saturday I'll be putting beehive braids back in which will last through the end of December.

I'm also doubling my dose of MSM. i'll be using my sulfur mix daily and also taking biotin.

it would be great to get an inch or more this month :grin:

Keep my hair off my shoulders, up my cowashing, rollerset mostly to avoid ssk's. I also started back working out this week as well plus, continue taking my vitamins and up my water intake.
 
Tonight I will do my Henna and Indigo treatment then possibly putting my hair in twists.
If I do twists I will re-do them at 2 weeks then keep them in until my final length check on Dec. 30th.
I will still:

M&S Daily
Take MSM Daily
Prepoo, Wash, DC weekly or biweekly
and hope that I reach my goal!
 
Wigging it or pony tail (dusts off)
Clipping ends this weekend
Put in mini twists and hide them under a wig.
 
1. Im baggying to put moisture back into my hair.
2. Re-constructing my hair regimine to correct the errors.
3. Adding new products that work and Subtracting products that didnt work
4. Starting to put together a exercise regimine for the New Year.
5. Get back to taking vitamins, daily or every 2 days.
6. And will do a trim in January, so I can start the year off right.

ALOT TO DO IN SO LITTLE TIME.:yawn:

1. Start exercising regularly now for the new year.
2. Dust this weekend and do mild S&D.
3. Keep hair twisted up.
4. Maintain deep conditioning sessions in this weather (which is still unseasonably warm...I fear what's going to happen when it gets cold :nono:)
5. Take vitamins daily. I've started taking them 2x/day, so I don't have to take so many at one time.
6. Drink water like it's going out of style.
 
1. Upping water with Nioxin going from 1x day to 2 a day (pray I do not break out1)
2. Baggy method 4x week with water/grapeseed oil/Qhemet A&O mix
