1 Full Inch of Growth in only 30 days!

I'll Join! I will wait until Monday to officially start. This will give me enough time to buy my supplies. I am growing out a short cut so this will be great!
I will come back with my plan.

I'm in!! I need until next week Monday or Tuesday though to get all the supplies.
I'm desperate to push my BC date up so I need my hair to grow with the quickness...

just wanted to add from experience about the 100 oz of water:

You WILL be going to the bathroom all of the time..
You WILL feel like you're constantly drinking....
but-
You WILL see results!
I don't know about the hair aspect but your stomach will flatten and you will see any puffiness in you face decrease in about 5 days- that quick I swear! By "flooding" your body with water it stops hoarding it (natural instinct) and changes are evident quickly!!! good luck ladies!!!

I noticed that a lot of women claim to get 1" a month but I never witnessed anyone get 12" in a year or 24" within two years. Why is that?

I would say consistency is the answer to that question. People dont seem to keep up with what works best. Too much regimen change.

These people must be coo-coo. If I had a regimen that gave 1" a month I wouldn't change a thing about it. I think 1" a month is a miracle so why even bother to change something that gives you extraordinary results. Who would even bother to change a regimen that gives 1" a month... I can't even fathom.

ive noticed that as well, my hair naturally grows an inch per month for about two months around the end of the year. but then goes back to its natural pattern. i havent seen or found anything that changes this pattern for myself.

Ok. I am going for it. Not sure how I will get all the additional protein though. I think I will look at protein bars during my trip to GNC this weekend. So my regi is as follows:

- 100 oz water (gotta find a container for that so I can keep track)
- Up my protein (will update how much once I know for sure)
- 2000 mg fish oil
- Egglette Shake w/2 eggs
- GNC HSN formula
- MegaTek (applied to scalp and massaged once daily)
- Stay consistent with 2-3 mile walk/day as well as addtional cardio/aerobic. May add strength as well.
- continue with my no-heat, low-manip reggie - buns or pin-ups
- cowash once or twice weekly, DC once weekly, moisturize daily when twisting or bunning.
- Ayurvedic powders and oils
- stay consistent with raw intake and increase the fish/chicken intake

Will update my pic later this weekend if needed.

Maybe the body will let you get that 1 inch a month but maybe you will get 6 inches the first six months and then none the next six months?

Kinda like you can't force no more than the 12 inches a year :ohwell:

Because certain things only work for so long..you get different results as time goes on. MN and a high protein diet gave me phenominal growth the first month or two that I did it but it started to slow down after awhile. Just my opinion..

I use Vanilla Creme but they have other really tasty sounding flavors like Chocolate Peanut Butter, Creme Brulee and Cookies N Cream.

The serving size is 2 scoops for 195 calories and 25 grams of protein. But to keep my calories down I only use 1 scoop with water and spread them out over the course of the day.

They also sell Muscle Milk Light in premixed liquid bottles, but it averages about $7.99 for 4 of them, so I think buying a tub is more economical.

Thank you so much

This is what I don't understand. I think I have a "problem" with growing hair. My hair can go for a year or even 1 1/2 years without growing. If people can go six months without hair growth I suppose that is a problem or is it normal? I would love to have 1" in a month even if it doesn't last long.

Subscribing to see progress pics. Good luck all entrants to the challenge. I'm too lazy to sign up and keep such a rigid regimen. I have trouble just sticking to doing almost nothing.

I guess you woman are so lucky. I tried the MN and I didn't get any growth from it. I never tried a high protein diet but i did try the protein shake and didn't any results from it. I just one of the unlucky ones or sometimes I wonder how honest people are when they post.

lol I know right! I'm also trying to lose weight. A lot of the things in my daily list help with both weight loss and hair care, so its a win-win!

I've started the "Eating Clean Lifestyle" and my hair (even with breakage) has grown like a weed. With a good diet and exercise included in your regimen, I'm sure you'll reach your goal in no time.

I"M IN

I just bought some Whey Protien
My vitamins, Womens multi, msm, vit c, brewers yeast, biotin, amino acids, spirilina, and foti.
I walk/run one to two miles a day.
I use MN mixed with MTG daily.
I keep my hair in cornrows.

This is a challenge I would love to join, but I am really inconsistent with complicated regimens. I don't have the time like I want to... :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

Subscribing for results photos. Great thread, OP!!

Unlike most folks, I seem to get my growth spurts in the winter. My summer growth is maybe .25 inches a month (I'm in braids so I can see it.) But come the winter time I can easily get .5 or .75. I am actually documenting it this time because I am in braids and I was not really surpised by the results.

At least you can get .5" in a month. My hair doesn't grow like that so I can go months without any growth. I don't even have growth spurts and honestly, I don't know when my hair grows. I just know I average about 1" a year.

Are you anemic? whats ur regimen? have u tried growth aids?

I'm not anemic. I wash and conditioner twice a week and I use Palmer's olive oil for moisturizer. I also take maxi-hair vitamins. I tried the protein shake and MN and it didn't work. I even use the BT and it didn't work but gave me scales and dandruff.
