July 2011....What Did YOU Buy This Week? (Hair Care Edition)

@IDareT'sHair girl....this move to another city has got me watching ma pennies....setting up an apt aint cheap.:nono:

So....regretfully, I haven't bought anything. Well let's face it that's probably a GREAT thing :lachen:

P.S. I have a whole self of conditioner in my bathroom......:drunk: Love it! Makes me wanna buy MORE :lachen:

bajandoc86 I hope the Move is going well.

I missed seeing you, but knew you were tryna' get settled in and thangs. I hope you like your New Digs!

I'm sure you'll be back to Haulin' once you get all settled in and adjusted.:yep:

Sounds Exciting! Hope this is a Great Move for You!

IDareT'sHair I LUVS ma new place.....it's in a nice quiet neighbourhood, with a great view, community clubhouse with pool, has hot water, A/C.....and *insert drumroll please* LOTS of storage space for my hair stuff!! :lachen:I need to get caught up with the HOt's thread and the DDDC thread as well.

I was living in a city in the country....sounds like it makes no sense but I promise it's true! lol. Where I am now is about 4 hrs drive away, and it's a city city. Complete with hideous traffic and about a million people. I went to university here in Kingston (where I am now), so I'm familiar with the place.

Plus I got a new car too:yay:, so now I can drive to all my fave places, instead of catching the bus. Of course, I'm not loving the cost of this city living.....:nono: I'm thinking about putting myself on a no-buy ban for 3 months, but I get what we Bajans (halee_J )call 'bad feels' just thinking about it. DWL!

I received my tracking info for my steamer today. It's coming from LA via Fedex, so I should have it in time for my Saturday hair day. When I washed my hair this past Saturday, it felt so different not using my steamer .

I had a free $175 gift card to Target so I got a bottle of Curls gel for $10 and an 16 oz ounce jar of Kinky Curly Custard for $16.99. The KC is much cheaper at Target than at Whole Foods.

I used my $5 off coupon from Sally's to purchase a bottle of Ion Repair Solutions, for $2.39 :lick:. From my fav-o-rite store, Biglots, I purchased a bottle of Freeman's Papaya & Coconut conditioner.

From CVS:

Cristophe Argan Oil treatment - been using it for a week and I love it. I think I like it better than the original and you can't beat the price. It was on sale for $4 and I found a $2 off coupon right in front of the products so you all know I had to get 3 of them. I may go back for one more.
