Okay, ya'll I have been trying to zip my lips on this one, but everytime I come into my home office I get sooooo excited! So, I have to tell.....Oh, and I'm not advertising or soliciting ya'll so just join me in my excitfulness (kecia's dictionary). I wrote a song about it, wanna hear it, here it go....
After a long, long, long (I mean long) battle with self in deciding between law school, DOD employment, hair
and everything else. I decided to just start small and open up my own online BSS! I am in the process of finalizing (patent mumbo jumbo) a few dietary supplement for hair, so in the interim I will be operating the BSS as a way to generate capital for the other list of stuff I plan to rollout (my own haircare product line, etc).
The goal in the long run is to have a Full Service (brick and mortar) Salon/Beauty Center.
But for now, I'm getting my BSS store ready for takeoff and I must say it is alot of work! We have all the legal stuff done (was not fun,but it's done!), decided on the e-commerce platform, now we are working on the distributing channels with Avlon, ORS, etc, etc... (ya'll know the names).
My husband and mother (which I was surprised about my mom) has been very supportive. My mom called me demanding I send her business cards because that's all she's talking about "my baby kecia is opening this, doing that...girl I raised her good didn't I?" It was nice to hear my mom say she was proud of me, before it was like anything NOT related to Information Tech what like
. So, I curbed that when I married an IT guy! "See mom, I like IT stuff 
"
So anyways, I thought I would share, I've been on here so much that ya'll are like fam.
So, whens the big day? Well, it will be properly advertised, so just know my sigi today will remain the same tomorrow and on that day.
