Gorgeous hair! Congrats on the milestone! Now tel me, how'd you get that look you wore on girls night out? Braid or twistout? Using individuals or flat twist/corn rows?

Lovely, lovely hair JenniferMD!

You're one of my inspirations, and it's great to see that you've reached your goal. I love the thickness of your relaxed hair, congrats!!!

Congrats on reaching bra-strap.
Do you let a Dom. Salon give you your relaxer touch-up as well? Do you always go to the same salon for your touch-ups or do you go to a variety of salons for that?

About time.
Damn it is looking good and healthy. You have to show me how to do those twists u wore girls nite out. U and hair looked so pretty.

YaY!! Jen is at a Healthy thick Brastrap:woot:

I'm going to bump up the 'non natural brastap thread' so u can post in it. Show em u can have that beautiful heatlhy hair while being relaxed.

I can definitely show you how to do the twistout---it's so easy too. And I think it would look beautiful on you!

I'm going to post in your thread now.

WOW JenniferMD your hair is :notworthy and look at your lovely thick ponytail

Can I ask you how you got your nape/kitchen area back to being so thick? I'm having problems with that area at the moment but I'm not sure if it's just because I'm over 12wks post touch-up & the ends look thinner than the roots.

My nape area has done a 180...I think the things that have contributed to my nape growing out are:

1. longer gap btw relaxers
2. making sure relaxer is rinsed out completely in that area
3. not combing that area with the rest of my hair
4. realizing that the texture back there is finer than the rest of my hair
5. apply extra moisturizer
6. avoid tight low ponytails
7. no brushing
8. wraping my hair at night

Hey LuvSlave! I did a twistout (flat twist)_on dry hair with moisturizer for that look I had on girls night out. I have picture directions for the style in my "May" album in 2005.

I just started going to a regular for my relaxers. I found my stylist who had gone MIA for a while (actually, Dana03 found her I think) and ever since then I've been going to her but before then I went to about 3 different salons. Oh, and yes...it's a Dom Salon.

It's hard finding a steady stylist to trust to do touch-ups. I had one a while ago, but she was older when I started going to her (maybe in her 50's) and I was 16, so now she's retired. I think older stylists are sometimes better than the younger ones. I know a lot of ppl. don't trust a Dominican stylist to do their relaxers.

   :notworthy: :notworthy: Jen your hair is sooooooo pretty!! OMG it's so thick and healthy. You come a long way baby!! Congrats to you on making brastrap and here's a toast

Alrigth JenniferMD ...you have always beens one of my secret hair inspirations on the board....I have to ask you some questions that I have been dying to ask you.

What are your staple products?

How do you wear your hair at night?

Your beginning photo and and your now photo are incredible....what did you do in the beginning stages of your hair journey that helped to even your hair out?

Thanks girlie! Your hair looks marvelous as usual... hehe

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair! I'm pretty new to this board, but you are an inspiration girl. I am working on healthier, thicker, longer hair. I just started using Surge, so hopefully I will get good results as well. I am taking notes from your fotki album...

I wear low ponytails on a regular basis b/c i'm in college...always one the run...and never have time to properly fix my hair. How did you style your hair instead?
