Hm I voted no, sorry. To me she looks more mature, since I don't want to use the word "old" because it's offensive and not as accurate.

I will say that I admire her doing the BC like I admire anyone else that does it. Also, her BC helps to focus on her facial features more since to me when I see her she always as a lot of hair around her face so it smothers her in a way.

I think she looks great. In my opinion when a woman decides to cut her hair short (BC/Cut, whatever) for whatever reason - I give her a lot of props. It can be very liberating.

I'm not sure why we're stuck on the whole BC term. Is it a term that Janet used? If not why are WE debating on whether it’s a cut or a BC. She didn't post her cut/style like we do and say, he yall I just BC'd.

I guess because BC was used, some folks also came in thinking her hair was going to be natural? Again I think those are terms we introduced or maybe because how the thread was titled, not necessarily what Janet was putting out there.

I digress, I think she's a beautiful woman and looks great. I love her short/long, curly, whatever.

You're absolutely right, it's all schematics; in the bigger picture, the term BC doesn't mean anything to Janet.

I just think this short style is coming back in. Look at Solange, Hayden Panaterri (forget how to spell her last name), Toni Braxton and now Janet. I like. It's a mature, confident, sexy kinda look.

She has fine strands. I think she probably wears lacefronts. I dont think she wears tracks/weaves. She did a concert and they went in her changing room. She did not have your typical tracks nor have any perimeter left out. She seems to sometimes wear phony ponies styled in updos as well.

I guess it's just as well that she cut it all off because her hair looks a little thin anyway and it could probably use a break from all the weaves, etc... I wish her the best.

I don't like it at all. It definitely looks like she has a relaxer that was left in too long. And no, I don't think she is beautiful. She's had too many plastic surgeries to me. She's funny looking just like Michael. She should have kept her face the way God made it. She looked so much better back in the day. I like some of her old music though.

I read back in the day she used Bantu relxer, she's the reason I started using that brand as a teen.

I refrained from commenting, but seeing this 'version' of her cut, I actually do like it.

The 'wet crinkly look' not so much.

Her hair looked a little too thin/fine to be able to Successfully pull off that look.

Love it...The Jacksons have that kind of soft hair....I don't think she did a BC.....Just a hair cut....new look.......In "Why did I get married too" you can see the back of the hair was a weave but the front was her short curly hair...as a matter of fact I didn't think the textures (her hair vs weave) matched (her curls tighter, while the weave was slightly more loose coils), and it was just too short in the front to be a weave so I just thought it was hers......Plus her real hair used to be colored in the early-mid nineties.....I suspect she has been natural for a while....just probably wearing a whole lotta wigs, and weaves and probably doing some blow-outs for a straighter look....To me it looks like a hair cut on natural hair with some gel.......and she is pulling it off nicely.....I guess she is a 3B or 3C.......beautiful!

The pic on the red carpet looks like she got a blow out and got it flat-ironed.....Looks thick to me! Even if she was natural or texlaxed or permed.....everybody's hair lays down differently......It doesn't mean she is going through the change of life or suffering from some kind of ailment....the lady is on top of her nutrition game....she has people for that....she is small cause unless she is doing a role, she stays looking good......!

Come on....ya'll know this woman is beautiful.....don't hate!


Plus she looks like her cutie brother in my avatar.....they got those same eyes its too funny......
