For those who use and love jbco. How do you use yours and what benefits have you seen from using it?

For me i use it in my dc's and i use it to seal, i have fallen in love with this oil. It makes my hair so soft. I have not used it long enough to see any other benefits. I would like to hear how others are using theirs and what its doing for you. Thanks.

I use it to seal in my leave ins and lay my edges down. Its a wonderful product!! Goes on sticky, but my ends end up soft and moisturized...

I Use JBCO on a Regular Basis, In particular when I am Deep into My Stretch.

It helps soften the NG and Your Hair Overall.

Last night, I used it under the dryer, while drying my Hair.

Hair came out Soft and Moisturized.

I massage it into my scalp after appying my OCT and I use it on the length of my twists to seal in the moisture. It leaves my hair really soft. Also I believe my hair is growing in thicker.

I black Jamaican castor it makes my hair extremely soft. I thin its consistency a little with avocado oil and use this to seal in moisture.

I mix it with every DC I do, which is at least weekly. I've mixed it with avocado oil to seal on occasion, when the weather's very dry. It makes my hair SOOOOOO soft . As an aside, I also mix it with regular castor oil and use it on my eyebrows, lashes, and lips at night. Stupid soft!

I use it on and off on my scalp. 50/50 with grapeseed oil. In the winter I use it on the very tip of my ends. This stuff is greasy, so I use it more in winter and I make sure is cowash a little more so my hair isn't weighed down. The great thing is that is does not clog pores. I heard some people get increased growth. I didnt but it did make my hair thick. And thickness is what I need

I had great results with JBCO for DC when I mixed with Keracare Humecto. Super soft and voluminous hair. However when I used it undiluted to my nape and edge areas I got like red itchy bumps, at first I thought it was just a coincidence and took a break but when I tried it again in those areas the same thing happened. My skin is sensitive to begin with so I don't use it unless diluted. Apart from that I give it two thumps up

It does thicken the hair. I like to mix mine with coconut oil and EO's and I am liking the growth results. I recall using this mixture the first go around a couple of years ago and my hair growth really took off!! I just restarted it again a couple of months ago.

I mix mine with every deep conditioner and when I rinse out the conditioner, I add a little bit because it helps with tangles/ knots.
During the mid-week, I use it as a sealant and ends. The night before wash day I add some to my hair section by section.
I also love using it as a pre-poo when mixed with unrefined palm kernel oil..yummy
Recenty, I made a body/hair butter with it with cocoa butter, palm oil and shea butter

I love JBCO. I use it twice a week on my scalp. I mix it with EVOO and lavender EO. I have been using it since the end of August and I have seen growth and thickness. I will have to try mixing it with some condish to see what results I get.

I just started using it last week. I oiled my scalp with it and used it to seal my hair. The next day my hair looked dark and shiny I didn't have to moisturize in between my oilings, my hair remained moisturized after I put it on. I plan on oiling my scalp with it 2 times a week from now on and on Friday night I used it to do a hot oil treatment, I like that it's so thick, it didn't leak down my face and back like thinner oils would. I love it so far. I can't wait to see growth results!
The BSS up the street from me where I bought it said they will get the lavender one soon, I can't wait to go back and pick it up.

I message it into the scalp after washes, I use it on my thin temples ever evening and they have really thickend up. I also apply it to seal my ends before I bun.

None hair use: my son has dry skin and I add it to his Vasline Intensive Care Lotion and he has told my that his skin does not dry out the way it used too.

To achieve the softness that everyone is raving about, are you all applying it to the scalp or on the entire hair? Pleas share; I just ordered a bottle a week ago to see if I can grow in my pitiful edges. I do like the product thus far, but I'm eager to learn how to optimize its use towards taming my new growth.

I am 8 weeks post and this rocked my new growth when I started using it last tuesday. It laid them down and made them very pliable, not a breakage in sight. And the softness WOWWW, however my scalp did not like it very much it was itchy within minutes and I had a bad headache with had me laid out for the rest of the night, it was only for that night though. I diluted it with some sweet almond oil and Home Health castor oil When I used it again on Saturday and again on Wed. the same itchiness and my scalp became very tender to the touch. I then took that diluted oil and diluted it today with some grapeseed oil and applied it and so far no itchiness, but it was not laying down like the straight JBCO so I added some Home Health Castor oil and now my NG is saying Thank you.

I use mine on my scalp and i seal with it on damp hair on top of my leave in. I use it on my full length, some ladies only for thier ends. You only need a little, it goes a long way.

Im sorry that happened to you, i know that ladies also love regular castor oil for softning and making the hair thicker. If jbco does not work for you, try just your regular castor oil to see how it does.
