I've become OBSESSED with Dove Sheer Moisture Mist!

I might have to get this to use on my hair during the summer. Since I work outside I will be able to use it throughout the day.

Cneal, you ain't the only one! My poor little husbands pockets are HURTIN! LOL!

OM Goodness!!! Thank you very much to the o.p. !!! I got the shampoo, conditioner, and mist yesterday. I put the mist on yesterday on my dried afro and it became very soft. I then decided to wash my hair this morning and all I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! Whoaaaaaaaaaa!!! I shampooed my hair and then did a hot oil treatment. Rinsed it out. Then put the conditioner in my hair for about 5 min while I showered. Hair became very soft. No Tangles!! Just comb through with ease!! Like butter. Rinsed out. Still soft. Was able to pick-out my afro with ease!!! My hair is a real 4a/b hair type. Thick and course. Dove sheer moisture shampoo, conditioner, and mist are awesome products!!!! They are going to be my staples. I hope they never discontinue this product. I am still amazed at the few products I have used to get this very soft afro. Now the only thing I have to conquer is defined curls.

P.S. I can not kept my hands out my afro!!!!

Wow, maybe I need to revisit mine. I loved the smell but it just didn't do anything else for me. My hair was soft but not enough moisture for me.

I also find the pump bottle to be really hard to spray. I have to use both hands!

Aaliyahredefined, congratulations on finding new staples! That's great! I wanted to get the poo and con, but I JUST got some new ones that I haven't even used yet. I had to fight my budding pj to leave them on the shelf!

When used straight, it moisturized fairly well as I was only looking for a very light 'wetting' of the hair. I added some leave-ins and a serum to mine and KAPPOW!! Moisture Mist on Steriods!!

I'm glad it's working for alot of you, but it sucked on my hair  . I use it only to freshen up my hair when its smelling like food or smoke between washes...other than that, I don't love it :ohwell:

I have to Co-sign on this. It does smell pretty but doesn't make my hair feel moisturized like it does for some of you. I'll just use it to freshen my hair when my hair smells of smoke or cooking odors :look: . I won't re-purchase though.

Ladies,

Do you think this works better than SCurl Moisturizer?

For me, yes. I don't like moisturizers that sit ON the hair and make it overly wet and/or oily.

I can spray this on my hair before bed, go to sleep and it DRIES, without a grease stain on my pillowcases. :barf:

I found a bottle in my "use it up" stash, but I just can't get in to it. It smells divine, but dosen't really add much moisture to my (dry) hair. I think I enjoy my Isoplus Black Magic Spray much better. I'll try it on damp hair after my next wash and see if it yields better results.

Got it today and used some of it. While I didnt feel any real difference as of yet, the smell is wooooonnnnderful.

It's the same with me. I gave it to my mom. :ohwell:

Wal-Mart has these on sale where you buy the Sheer Moisture Shampoo or Conditioner and you get a full size Moisture Mist free. Y'all are making me wanna go to my pj closet and open up the pack just to see what it smells like and if it works for me.

*Priestess off to raid personal pj closet. :sekret:

It has a lovely scent but it does have a tricky little nozzle; it was spraying the wall 'cause it kept spinning and escaping my wet finger:perplexed . Better aim with dry hands. Used it yesterday after Aphogee, it made my hair really soft.
Two bottles plus the little pink "luminizing" version for color treated hair from TARGET about $5.00 each, I'll try to find more at RITE-AID only if on sale.

Yeah, I agree with you ladies about the spray nozzle. If your fingers are a liiiiittle greasy or wet, fuhget about it! :) That's the only thing I would change, that damn nozzle! VWVixxen, switching bottles is a good idea!

I love this product too, just used it this weekend. I think it is great for fine hair because no weight. It refreshes my rollersets like a dream!

I'm the same way: i love this stuff: I spray on my hair for everything: i've learned to calm down: but I made it a staple and I sent a feedback to Dove.com to never discontinue this product :D

ive been using it for a few months now and i like it

i would say i prolly use it liberally at least 5x daily
