Geez ladies, yall made my day - thanks so much for the love, encouragement and the overall positiveness (i put some of this into a bad hair day jar and will use if/as needed ;)).

sidenote: i was totally out and about today and i'm glad i had mad errands to run, that way i didn't have time to worry about how my hair looked (not even a peek in that ole rear view mirror LOL). Very liberating feeling i tell ya!

I am so happy for you. You have gotten some great growth while transitioning. Your hair is gorgeous. I can't wait to chop mine off. Congrats!

It's gonna take a minute to get over the shell shock - my hair has only been this short once in my life and that was about 20 years ago.

I put these coils in last night and finished making up some sort of style this morning. Now to go out and face the world LOL.

There's a few small permed ends here and there that will be getting dusted as i come across them.

It's just about grazing shoulder length so i've got a loooooong way to go but i'm gonna have fun while i'm waiting for it to grow back.

I'm SO glad i'm done!

CONGRATS! Your hair is beautiful! You BC'ers are very inspiring. One day I will join the BC club. It is so tempting because of what you mention about camouflaging the two textures. It is just hard because i know i will miss the length.....

But you're relaxed hair was too also... enjoy being natural. The length suits you too
