I must be doing something wrong...I went out and got some Hawaiian Silky today and it makes my HAIR feel great, smooth, soft, got rid of all the crunch and tangles my ends were going through:grin::grin::grin::yep::yep::yep:...but my HEAD feels horrid!:sad::sad::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash: It itches to no end, what am I doing wrong? I don't want to give up this product that makes my hair look great, but I don't want to endure the agony of this itching either. I sprayed it at my hair and a bit more directly at my ends then "combed" through with a pick. I didn't intentionally spray it at my scalp or rub it into my scalp. Could I be allergic to this product or is it likely that I'm just using it wrong?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What a conundrum! It's a hard choice, I'm sure. But if it's making you itch all over your scalp like that, I'd imagine it would impact your scalp's overall health, which could slow down your growth in the future. So perhaps you should just let this one go, and search for a product with similar ingredients that might work well for you without the allergy. My guess is that it's one of the dyes or the fragrance that is giving you trouble, but I could of course be wrong.

Best of luck to you whatever you decide.

It does me justtt fine i LOVE it :) i found my staple moisterizer along with water, aloe vera and glycerin.

Maybe you need to clarify your? Any time I find moisturizers that make my hair feel superb, they tend to cause more build-up.. and my scalp if very sensitive to build up and will itch to no end. Try doing a clarifying treatment (I use ACV and I wanna try benonite clay sp?) and DC-ing and using the Hawaiian Silky again. You may just have a lot of build up on your scalp.
