All you MTG ladies beware it could happen to you-I was in the kitchen cooking and helping my son with his homework, when I felt something on my neck. I moved my head a little in a gesture to get whatever it was off and then was startled when I realized it was my hair!! :eek: I am sort of a sceptic, but I believe this stuff is actuall working. And yes in the beginning I did get the scary curl effect when I applied too much, but my hair is never weighed down! I find that funny, becasue this stuff is a oil and it feels like an oil but my hair still moves. :confused: I apply to my scalp every night now and wrap it up. The next morning the smell is gone and my hair looks and feel great!
 
It does work, I mixed this stuff with some Surge, and some leftover oil I made, and go....I use it after I apply my moisturizer, and my hair is growing like crazy..

Do you use the light oil or the heavy oil?

I will have to get back to you on that one... I do not have the bottle at hand at the moment. But it is the one ordered through Shapleys. Mane and Tail growth.

Oh, You are using the Original MTG Formula. I was mistaken, on the website they also have two different oils, both light and heavy that are advertised as well. I didn't realize that the Original MTG was actually an oil, not a regular conditoner.

I was confused:confused: too when I saw the light oil and the heavy oil on the website but Lanecia :wave:cleared up my confusion and told me that the Original MTG Formula is what does the trick. I also got a sample of the hi-shine shampoo and the light oil to see how they work on my hair as well. So far I have only tried to the light oil and I love it:love: . It makes my hair so soft, curly and shiny.

That's great Congratulations!!! How long have you been using it? And How much growth do you think you have gotten in that amount of time?

I've ordered mine already, I'm hoping it will be here sometime next week.

Yay:yay:!! for MTG. I am happy that you are experiencing super duper growth rate. I realized that the curly effect is happening to me too at the roots. This is my second week using the MTG and I realize that my roots are very curly and wavy but I didn't know that the MTG would be the culprit.:eek: I also realize that my plaits are looking puffy (thick) at the roots. I am so excited:woot: and I can't wait until the end of the 2 months challenge to see the end results.:cheers:

Hmm.... I contemplated getting the light oil before I figured out that everyone was talking about the Original MTG Formula. I think I will order the trial sizes for both of the products and see which one works best for me.
 
I think the tighter curls are to do with the more rapid hair growth. You know when you score a hair between your fingers real fast and it coils? It's sort of having the same effect when it's growing a lot faster than usual through the hair follicle.

Thanks for sharing this great information. I didn't think about what could be causing the tighter curls but thank God it's rapid hair growth:D .

I ordered it about 2 months ago and used it off and on but I just could not get used to the smell. But after hearing what others here were saying about it and how they were applying it and the fact that I was tired of waisting my hard earned funds on hair misses, I started using again. I have been using regularly since April 1.
I have not measured my hair I just know it has grown and I like the feel that I get with this oil. Also my hair does not shed as much as it did before I was using. That may have been my problem, I was losing as much as I was growing. :confused:
 
Holy cow! That's probably what's going on with my hair! :lol: I was wondering why it was so wavy and curly at the roots and why my hair was refusing to relax! My hair is now almost back to the length is was before it was cut 2 weeks ago. It's now at 8". 1.5" shorter. I'm loving this MTG conditioner! I gained 1/2" in 2 weeks. :eek: Did I not say I love this conditioner?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol:

I've been oiling my scalp nightly with MTG (15 nights) and my hair has grown
a lot how much i don't know but my roots are so thick and wavy. I plan on ordering 2 more bottles. This is the one product that shouldn't be pass up.
