I agree with you. This teacher has an agenda to 'indoctrinate' these children.

He/she could instead have chosen 'Good Morning / Have a nice day'.

Actually that's what the Quoran tells them to do taqyiya
Which means basically to lie and deceive to any extent to achieve the goals of Islam. And it's for anytime not just times of persecution or war it can and even should be used to recruit and convert.

I've known all about taroofing and taqqiyah from ages ago...many are fooled. Christians do the same, however. Our faith asks us to spread the gospel, not to force conversions, which, unfortunately, occurred resulting in the murders of millions. History is histoy. People today will try and force conversions on others at work, school etc.. I've been the victim of that by "well-meaning" christians and so have others, even those who are already christians (from the "wrong" denomination according to the proselytizers). I made a post about this early yesterday. It might be worth reading the article on the school in Tennessee. This is not the first time it's happened in exactly this same way. I suspect it's the materials used in the course and people need to question the author of the book.

As a Christian parent, I would've been extremely upset too and would have refused to allow my children to participate in this assignment.
