Okay, okay... so he isn't REALLY addicted, but he picks up on so much more than I thought :lachen:


1. He's started calling me Neith in real life :rolleyes:

2. He recognizes a few members by their siggy pics. Everyone with big siggy pics... he knows yall :lol:

3. He knows ALL about co washing, deep conditioning, relaxing and texturizing, weaves, braids, the salt thing and lord knows what else he knows ( he has type 1 hair :lol:)

4. He talks "hair science" with me and I'll be derned if he doesn't have some good ideas and insight sometimes...

5. He NOTICED THAT THE BOARD CHANGED FORMAT! Then asked me how I like it now...


Boy... do I put this man through some stuff or what?
 
LOL that's so cool!. My SO drags me into a big discussion about cowashing, why pink oil is bad and why i disagree with 2 n 1 shampoo/condish
 
He's not necessarily addicted, but all of a sudden he thinks he knows something about how to grow hair. Frankly, it's getting on my nerves. It was okay when he just swooned over my hair and agreed to all of my PJ whims, but it's getting out of hand now. Just the other day he decided he would tell some people all about the hair forum and how I spend hours on there and how that's how I went from having almost no hair to all this long hair that has his hormones in high gear. Then he starts telling them all you gotta do is wash your hair like this....and then put in the conditioner and blah, blah, blah. I'm telling y'all, if this man doesn't stop putting all my business in the street I'mma knock his block off.:hammer:

lol!... Mine told this girl at work that I go on the hairboards and I'm obsessed with hair and she should talk to me about HER HAIR :blush:

I was really embarrassed!


but your hair is so pretty if I was your man I'd brag about it too!

Awww...thanks girl, but we gotta get a handle on this situation. Really...it's out of hand. How the brothers gonna embarass us in front of folks?:nono:

he thinks i'm crazy for cutting off all my hair and "wearing it curly", he would really piss fire if he found out there were people encouraging me not to re-relax my hair

Please believe that I've considered getting a second membership under a different name, no pictures! :lol: But it was never to vent about anything on this board, rather to discuss personal things that I just won't post with my pics up on blast. :perplexed

No, Im addicted to LHCF and my SO has had to get used to it lol. [Im glad he not addicted , he already thinks he knows it all lol. the last thing I need is for him to think he can tell ME about hair] I talk about hair stuff so much Im surprised that he actually listens as much as he does. He actually reminded me the other day that I said I needed to go to Sally's for that special brush (denman) for me and dd hair :spinning:. I know he does want both me and dd hair to be long and beautiful though. A while back I let him see a couple of pics of my inspirations' hair and showed him a pic of another member's dd hair (I told him that was how I wanted me and dd hair to be in the future) and ever since then he has been so supportive of anything haircare-wise :lachen:. I thought I would have to buy Joico out of my own pocket because i just knew he wasn't about to have that but ladies he bought those Joico conditioners near $20 each so fast without so much as a "and," "if" or "but" :lachen: and this is a man who complains about putting $10 in the gas tank sometimes. I was surprised and shocked. he sees my hair improving and he sees dd hair growing... yeah he been real supportive thanks to lhcf.

My boo adores the fact that i'm finally taking care of my hair. I just think deep down he wished I wouldve done it sooner. As he puts it "...when you cut your hair in 05, I told you to stop relaxing it!!!" but other than that he supports my "habit" lol.

2. He comments on random people's hair healthy--he hates dried relaxed greasy hair!
3. He now cowashes and knows the difference between a moisturizing poo and a clarifying one.
4. He hasn't purchased any new hair products in 2 years because of my PJism and when he comes over he searches my closet for new products...this weekend he was looking for a good reconstructor. He took a bottle of my Dumb Blonde and had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't impressed with it:rolleyes:

5. He tells people how I'm a "hair expert" and gives them my phone # and have them call and ask me for "advice.":blush:
 
My SO is def. not addicted, but he knows that I am. I do not directly share this site w/him, because I'm new to this hair care world, so I'm waiting for results; however anytime he walks by the PC while I'm on it, he obviously notices that it's all about hair -it's a little embarrassing lol!
