Divine, I believe that 3160 mcgs (micrograms) of Biotin = a little more than 3 mgs (milligrams) of Biotin. Everyone's system has a different tolerance level, not to mention medications, other supplements, diet, or health issues. What may be too much for one person may be just right or not even enough for another. That said, I have known people who have taken 5 mgs (milligrams) of Biotin successfully. HTH.
