biotin? is there such a thing as too much?

i'm the krunk one who was all excited about finding a 5mg tablet of biotin. would it be entirely too much if i took two of those?

i take 2-3 tablets of 3mg of biotin, the bottle says take one daily but i never adhere to any of the bottles. like with motrin 800 mg i always take 2 within one hour, whereas the bottle says 1 every 6 hrs. im beginning to think im immune to medecine.

#1 Biotin is water-soluble so what you don't use, you most likely lose.
#2 "Biotin is not known to be toxic. Toxicity has not been reported with daily oral doses of up to 200 mg [that's 200,000 mcg] . . .. Due to the lack of reports of adverse effects, the Food and Nutrition Board did not set a tolerable upper level of intake (UL) for biotin."

I take up to 10 mg and I seem to be doing fine!

I take 15 mg (two 7.5 mg capsules) per day and I'm surprised that I haven't started growing hair out of my ears!

Can anyone tell me the price of Puritan Pride Biotin? I don't think the kind I have is working.

And I think PP may be cheaper too.
