The leave-in is just that- a leave-in that locks in treatment through heat. So it would be ideal to spray on your hair before using direct heat. It is not a heat protectant, however, you'll need to use a serum for protection against heat damage.

Hi,
I use this as a leave in conditioner after I wash. I don't use it as a heat protector because it is a protein treatment (mild) and that would be too much for my hair. Most of the products I use in my hair are moisture based, so I use this to add a little protein.

No, its not a heat protectant. Its just a treatment you leave in and dont wash out. I use Tresessme Heat Tamer Spray as my protectant.

One of my best flat ironing sessions came from using this as a heat protectant.

^^Me 2. I get the shiniest flat-iron when using this as a protectant....I used it alone one time accidentally and was pleasantly surprised with how radiant my hair came out :drunk:

***A few pumps of PM Super Skinny Serum makes it come out that much better & protected***
