Is the salon hair dryer at salonsrus.com any good?

Yes, LCLBeauty is the same company. I'm waiting for my dryer now.

*looks out window* Where the heck is FedEx?

^^^^Did you buy the salon dryer on wheels? I'm looking into getting a salon dryer and want to invest my money in something that will last.

I would like to see more reviews as well. Also, for those of you that have had your dryer for a year or longer how is it holding up?

i like mine a lot. gets hot. Hair on grey, purple & black rollers dry in hour. use to take me almost 2 hours

I purchased mine in 2009 and it is still going strong. It even survived a drop during a move and there was no damage to the unit, just slight scrape from the ground. Years later I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Probably one of my best purchases to date.

My steamer fell apart would not recommend that cheaply made crap. I think I used it no more than 8 times. I have the black one that says u can use tap water.

kinchen Do you mind me asking which steamer you are referring to. Is it this one:
http://lclbeauty.com/proddetail.php?prod=PRO-1037A

or this one

I clicked on the link in your original post and got a error message.

Many thanks in advance for your response,

The second one is the one I have that uses tap water and I practically have it held together with duck tape. The one I have is all black maybe they have a newer model.

I ordered it and will return the Gold N' Hot.

Can someone tell me what temp settings they use? And how long their hair is?

I have one. I think it was less than $130.00 and it came quickly,no trouble assembling and it never had a problem working. 5 stars out of 5!!!

I never updated after this. Anyway, I've been using the dryer pretty regularly the last year and I love it. It heats evenly and get my hair dry much faster than my tabletop. This is one hair purchase I do not regret.

I'm BSL (texlaxed, medium thickness) and usually set the temperature to 158. Mohawk sets dry in about an hour.

I also set mine on 158. My hair is medium thickness but usually takes 2 hours to dry under a regular salon dryer :-(

My hair dries in 45-50 minutes with my beautiful daughter (hair dryer). Even when I use smaller red rollers (1 1/2") it's still 50 minutes. I am still in awe.

I also enjoy steaming with it. I apply conditioner on my hair, then put on a warm, wet turban. I put on a shower cap or a grocery bag (I call that "el cheapo") and sit under the dryer for about 10-20 minutes. My hair is infused with so much moisture and shine.

I hugged her tonight by the way. :look:

I just ordered this dryer as my birthday present to myself. I'm motivated to start rollersetting after realizing how dry my hair is using a blow dryer. I'm ready to retire my table top dryer since I couldn't get all the rollers in even with NL hair!

For those of you who are APL or longer, how long does it typically take for your hair to dry completely with this dryer?

I don't know what you are waiting for, you know you want it! LOL. I had it in a 400 sq ft apt so I know you'll be able to put in yours.
