My hair is my therapy! Whenever things get rough, I hop in the shower and co-wash my hair! I love every part of wash day! (I struggle to keep my hands out of my hair.) I love my HAIRAPY!!!

nope. its a chore. i would rather pay someone to do it for me :ohwell:

I love co-wash days......something about massaging my scalp while washing it makes me feel so much better:yep:.....its just the detangling process i hate:mad:....

There's nothing like standing in the shower with that warm water running through your hair after a nice DC or co-wash. Like it just washes all the stress and troubles away :lachen:

I feel it is! It helps me concentrate on something else and get my mind off some of the hardships in life, makes me feel I am accomplishing something hard to accomplish, and also it is thearpuetic for my self esteem.

I always feel like a new person after I do my hair. Washing my hair is very therapeutic especially after I've been really stressed about a project or something. (I'm a grad student) I love being able to feel my fingers on my scalp and being able to look at my hair in its natural state. However I hate the blow drying after. By the time I'm finished I'm ready to be done and do something else. But I look forward to doing my hair. I always sleep better on wash days.

Definately :)
After after a stressful/drama-filled day, I can't WAIT to get home and make a Bee-line straight for the shower! If you're in my way during that time you WILL get bull-dozed over
Once i'm in the shower it seems as if my mind is freed from any negative aspects of my day and a gigantic weight has been lifted off my shoulders
and DC time? man don't even get me STARTED on how theraputic that is! :lick:
sitting under the hooded dryer put's me in a soothing trance .::sigh::. ahhhhh!!

I like it to an extent. Co-washing everyday/every other day= NO. Because my hair is textlaxed(sp), it does not lay smooth. So that means I will need to either roller set and/or flat iron. So to keep my hair healthy, I only wash or co-wash one day a week.

All is good until it gets down the roller setting/flat ironing part. I am exhausted by then.

Yes it can be. I love washing my hair now. I love the smell of the conditioner and how my scalp feels. It can be very relaxing.

It is when I'm DC'ing and Air Drying, but not when I have to do hard protein treatments and henna. But I always love the results....

I have found dcing very therapeutic  especially with heat

YES! Wash day is like my spa/me day. While I DC I put on a facial mask, soak my feet and give myself a manicure.

Yes, for me this is a hobby and I love seeing the progress that I am making! It's very therapeutic to me!

I look forward to my daily cowash!!! I just put moisture in seal the ends with oil and air dry, so the whole process is easy and i enjoy it!!

Me too! If I'm sleepy when I get in the shower, by the time I'm done cowashing or rinsing, I'm wide awake. I'm going to miss it when the weather turns cold.

OMG ! There is nothing as therapeutic to me as washing my hair or cowashing it. It's just something about having a clean head and fresh product free hair that makes me :spinning:. If I'm stressed, or sad especially washing from head to toe really does make me feel a little better. My only deterrent is airdrying overnight (which never happens) or taking the time to sit under the dryer for a bit or hitting it w/ the blow dryer so that my hair is not soaking wet.

Ahh oh well, I had a sweaty head after exercising tonight and i'm about to hop in the shower wash my hair. I think I'll be going to bed w/ a very wet head.

More like a workout. I swear my arms get beastier everytime I do my hair :giggle:
