Is anyone still using castor oil?

Great responses ladies keep it coming! Also when using aloe vera gel with it, is it the liquid juice or actual gel?

I use it with Jasons Aloe Vera Gel. But not mixed...put a bit of the gel on, a bit of the castor on top and then brush and put on my scarf. Great on my edges :)

Of course. I love it. Goes on sticky but sets in soft. No other oil quite like it...maybe avocado oil.

Oooo....like this description:) Feel the same way.

I will always use castor oil.
-I use it on my ends while my hair is in two-strand twists (prevents single strand knots from forming and keeps my ends moist and soft for days).
-I also mix it with my leave-in conditioner and if I run out, it becomes my leave-in. Works like a charm and a little goes a long way:yep:.

I realized my hair thrives the most with castor oil. It seems to still need thick oils despite the fact that I am now relaxed. Coconut oil just does not do the trick for my hair.

I use it to seal my nape, ends, and edges for thickness. I never use it alone. After I moisturize and seal with either coconut or avocado oils, I place it on the aforementioned areas as long as the hair is wet or damp. I don't put it on dry hair (i.e., too sticky).

Yep sure do. This is my favorite oil! Makes my hair super soft. And I like the fact that it does not feel like an oil on my hair.I use it to pre-poo and mixed with EVOO or coconut oil for sealing.
