Is anyone still using castor oil?

Castor oil is my little miracle worker in a bottle
I love this stuff.

Since I've been using castor oil, I've noticed an increase in my thickness, less breakage, less heat /every day stress damage... and just over all health I guess lol.

I put some in almost all my DC's, use it to seal, and I use a bit every night to condition my ends.

And a little bit goes a long way..

I just LOVE it !!! :drunk:

I use castor oil daily on the shaft and ends of my hair. Castor oil helps maintain my moisture, keeps my ends from knotting and tangling and aids in preventing breakage. I will never stop using castor oil.

DEFINATELY!!!!

i mix it with other oils for pre poo

use to seal my ends when doing a braidout

I will always use castor oil. I used it to seal on wet hair on wash days. Heavy Cream has castor oil as a main ingredient so I guess you could say that I constantly use castor oil.

I bought a bottle of it, but it's a little too thick for me so I add it to conditioners.

i mix it in my deep conditioners with heat and my hair is getting soooooooooooooo thick

LOVE that oil! So happy I was put onto it by LHCF :)

I have started mixing it in my pre-poos along with other oils. I also use it daily as a sealant after moisturizing when I'm buning. I think that it would be too thick for me to use as sealant when wearing my hair out. It makes my hair feel really soft and non-greasy or oily. Odd since it is an oil. It also helps my slick my hair down. Castor oil plus aloe vera gel (i use Jasons) really helps me get my edges down!

....
Ditto :)

I will never NOT use castor oil.. I use it to seal after I wash my hair, and inbetween washes to keep my hair moisturized. I love it and will always love it

YEP>>>> i'm using it.
Using it to tame down the thickness MEGATEK has given me.
I put some on my new growth, put scarf on, and in the morning my hair is smoothed out.

Yes I started using it about 4 months ago

It's heavy enough to match up against my thick hair and light enough for me to use daily

Yes. I use JBCO, and I like it so far. I use it as a sealant after moisturizing and sometimes I add it to my DC`s.

I still use it and like the other posters said "I will never stop using it". I always use it to seal after applying my leave in and it makes my hair remarkably soft and although it's thick, its never greasy once my hair is dry. I order it online in big bottles but the greatest thing is that if I run out, I can get castor oil anywhere to tide me over :yep:

Yes, I still use it to seal after about 8 weeks post just to keep my ends nice. I just use a little bit though. It's quite thick.

Im a faithful user of castor oil, as many times as i've tweaked my regi, I STILL incorporate the castor oil. I use it for oil rinses, I seal my ends with it, mix it with other oils and water for a hair spritz...my hair is WAY softer and moisturized since i've been using it...

I am a castor oil committed person every since approximately 10-12 weeks ago. It helped me attain new growth 3 weeks post relaxer and it thickened up my edges(yes!). Also, I use it in combination to combat the SLS shampoo that I use. I use it to seal my hair, etc.

I use it every single day in my lazy reggie. Right now I'm kind of not in the mood to do anything with my hair so castor oil is keeping my hair in good condition.

I rinse every morning in the shower and let my hair air dry in a puff. As soon as I'm out of the shower I generously apply (translation: I'm heavy handed) a bunch of castor oil and then wrap my hair in a t-shirt.

People put their hands in my hair every day and comment on how soft, shiny, and strong it is. And they never pull back greasy fingers. I love it. Usually letting my hair shrink up means knots, tangles, and breakage on my ends. Castor oil really helps me avoid that when I'm being lazy.

I also do overnight treatments with it as well.

i use to it to seal my ends after cowashing. I mix it with aloe vera gel to do my twist and to slick hair back. I use everyday.

I use it daily to seal my ends after moisturizing and on my edges. It's a little sticky but it keeps my hair soft. I've tried some other oils from time to time, but this is one I have stuck with.

I love castor oil! I use it on my scalp; in my baggy; I use it to seal.
I absolutely love it! I makes the hair so soft, its not greasy or oily on my hair.

...Did I say I love castor oil!:love::love:

Right now I am using it in my deep conditioners and very lightly on wet hair. If I use too much I'll look like I have a very bad jherri curl LOL

i havent used it on my scalp in a while. i have been mixing it in my conditioners and my hair feels really thick. i will start using it on my scalp to see what that does for my new growth.
