I rarely hear of anyone using castor oil anymore. If anyone is still usong what are your methods of use?

I use castor oil just not the JBCO because it stinks.
I use it to seal by adding castor oil over leave-in conditioners for long lasting moisture past day 1.
I also add it to my rinse out conditioners for more oomph.
Castor oil is the only oil I can use on my hair. It's awesome! :)
Some other ladies use it to oil their scalp.

I absolutely love castor oil!

I add them both to my DCs, as well as using them as a base for my sealing oil mixture (that includes argan, hemp seed, macadamia & pumpkin).

There's an entire castor oil challenge. Plenty of people on this site use it. You may want to check out that thread, and also the HOT, Oil Rinse, Sealing Thread

I switched to coconut oil. Nothing at all against JBCO I still have some, I just prefer coconut coz it's lighter and absorbs better. I'm sure castor oil is a staple for plenty of people though.

Yep and I love the stuff especially for oil rinses I use it with almond oil. I also use it before I use gel like if I am doing a twist out and always on my ends.

I just used it this morning. I conditioned my hair and did twists and added a dime size to each, fat section. I love it! I use the Haitian castor oil as night for my temple and nape massage and JBCO for my twists. The reason for that is the Haitian castor oil is in my night stand and the JBCO is in the medicine cabinet, LOL!

Still loving my JBCO! I use it to seal after twisting and am currently trying to fill in my edges with it. I know it makes most peoples scalp itch, but it actually makes mine stop itching.

I was using the JBCO for my scalp and edges but the itching was TOO much that I had to stop using it.

Yep, still using it for hair and skin. In terms of hair, lately, I've been using it more for sealing rather than on the scalp.

Love JBCO...use for sealing ends as well as throughout strands after applying giovanni leave in

I actually stopped using JBCO. I felt like I was always on the verge of figuring it out but never could fine tune things so I gave it up. It was so thick that sometimes it snapped my hair and that's a huge no no for me. I'm thinking maybe I should try it as a rinse and see if that helps.

I'm doing the GHE and I've used this on my hair the past two nights...love the results! My hair is really soft :yep:.
