I WOWED \'EM AT WORK TODAY!!!

I wore a braid-out to work today. It's the first time I ever wore it to work. I was shocked by the response I got.

People were running up to me all day, going "Wow, what did you do to your hair? it's beautiful". Most of these were Black women. They were like "How did you get your hair to do that"? Then when I told them, they were like "I can't believe that's all you did".

They were asking to touch it. I thought most people knew about braid-outs, but apparently it was something totally new to these people

How did you do it? I have only had one good braid out the rest have been fade out bummers.

No Adrienne, I didn't take pictures. I really didn't expect the reaction I got.
The last time I checked out your album, you had a braid-out going and I really would like to see all that beautiful hair of yours in a braid-out.
By the end of the day the curls were beginning to fuzz. I didn't use a lot products, just some S-curl, a little setting lotion and vaseline on the ends, with sponge rollers and end papers.
My husband loved it and the people at work, couldn't believe it. I don't think they know about braid-outs.

I get the same reaction when I do them as well. As a matter of fact, I did one last night and unraveled my hair this morning. As I was walking up to my bldg., a girl that I see often, but doesn't work w/me says, "so that's the style where you braid your hair up, put a roller on the end, let it dry and then let it loose right?" I said, "yep". Then she says, "so do you braid it wet?" and I said "yep". She says, "I'll be trying that tonight!" I was rushing to clock in so I didn't have a chance to tell her the products I used this time around, but we've talked about it before, so she may remember.

I don't see many people at all w/braid-outs, and people love it everytime I wear it. It's such a fun, cute style to do.

i've wearing one since I washed my hair yesterday and my mom was like your hair is so cute maybe you can do mine like that !! she asked me where I got my NTM leave in conditioner the other day and I was like Target so I figured she used some so I told her yeah it works good for tangles huh? and she was like oh! I used it on my dry hair!!

she is quite hair challenged ...

Yup -- braid/twist outs are great. They are really flattering on me, then there is that whole exotic look that's going on

Yes, I've been told that I look tropical! So I'm guessing it's along the same lines....maybe haha!
