I wanted to buy some but the price made me do a double take... I might have to get one on a five-finger discount.
That is how bad I want it

. I have heard GREAT things about Silken Seal.

If you hear about a lady going in JcPenny and holding them up for Silken Seal that would be me

LMAO

Silken Seal is EXPENSIVE but a little goes a VERY LONG way... i still have my 4oz bottle and u only need a dime size amount (anymore than that and you'll be sorry)

a dime size? really! because my hairdresser used a hand full of the stuff on my hair for the first time last week and my hair was so oily and heavy! i was so disappointed.

yeah only a dime size amount. My hair dresser used this on my rollersets after i took my rollers out. It came out really shiny and soft. She used entirely too much on your hair

i knew it! i knew she used too much. at first when i looked i thought she was putting some kinda moisturizer or something in my hair the way she was filling her hand with serum. then i saw it was a serum! i'll have to tell her next time to only use a dime size on my head.

Girl I think that looks cute you should have gave yourself a higher grade....I think I have that sweater is that NY&CO

Thank Neci but i wished i would have done them Friday nite... i need more time in the morning to perfect it. This just doesn't work when u have to go 2 work the next day esp. your first time. i can't wait for Friday nite

NY&CO !! That is my favorite store !! My mom swears I have stock in the company lol I should have spotted that sweater was from NY&CO. I was glad when they came to Houston !!

I guess I buy from NY&CO because I wish I could live in NY.

Too cute! Give yourself some credit girl that is definitely higher than 5. I have to try it.

Thanks everybody. I'm a perfectionist so i have to really be digging it in order to up my score of 5.
Naturalgirl - I am relaxed.

How does everyone keep the knots tight? mine seem to loosen up and I'm scared of how that will look when it completely dries.. and does anyoen tie the front of their hair down with a scarf ?

Thanks for inspiring me ladies!

I used Lotta Body (ready to use in white and pink bottle) and hair oil on damp hair with 6/7 sections and secured them with jumbo bobby pins and went to bed. This morning I undid them and got nice 3b type curls.

I plan to buy a small spray bottle and fill it with water so that I can redo them nightly. Once again thanxs

CaramelHonee, your hair looks great. I've never tried Bantu knots before and I'd like to give them a try. BTW, you look like Bert in your pictures!

LMAO @ blue flower.
gvsugirl - i slept with a bonnet on my head and my knots didn't come out either. they did feel a little 'loose' but since i twisted the very end at the bottom of the knot, that kind of kept it secure
smile.gif

Last night I simply moisted my hair, ran my finger through it and retwisted. This morning I simply undid it and ran my fingers through it. My hair looks better today then in did yesterday
