Question about bantu knots?

OK so I saw the thread on bantu knots and after seeing the results on Khandb I tried them last night and when I took them out this morning I was like beauuuuuutiffffull. Thanks Khandib for your instructions everyone at work complimented me on this and to think I paid my hairdresser $35 a couple of months ago to get the same results with small rollers. but I have one questions can this be considered a protective hairstyle because I just loooove the results if not what other styles can I try. thanx in advance girls !! lol

Yes that along with Braid Outs, Twist Outs , some ladies wear buns as well

thanx . KhandiB did you ever experience some shedding when you loosen or separate the knots in the morning because I am experiencing a little some breakage and shedding I used surge and then coconut oil on each section could this be the culprit any suggestions

I just tried the bantu knots too b/c of that thread! I luved my outcome too!

I did mine on dry hair--I just put a little Profective Break-Free on my ends and sealed that in w/ coconut oil and I didn't have any problems when taking them down.

Maybe use a little creamy leavin or something like that when doing them to add some moisture along w/ your oil.
