I Seriously Need Your Prayers, Ladies!!

Hello all and Happy New Year,

I have been diligently looking for work since 2 days after I got back to Boston. I'm registered with 50-11 temp agencies and nothing worthwhile has come through yet. That money I took out of my 403B is vanishing quickly and have a ton of bills pay. I'm really getting nervous. And I don't just need a job, I need a GOOD PAYING job cause I'm in a lot of debt from the Arizona fiasco.

Hello ;). I'm praying for you and you will see results, but not because of me. But simply because God heard you long before you ever called. And His heart to you says, 'Yes', I am pouring out my best, upon you. Fear not, for every need you have is met, far above and beyond you could ever ask or think.

God says, "Fear not... for I am with you, even until the end of the ages..."

And honey, those 'bills' are not the boss of you. Indeed no. Just speak to them and tell them to 'git'... and hence they will have to get up and go. :lol: Yes, it is just that easy. "Bills, git' in Jesus' name. In God I will not be put to shame." Amen.

I feel your pain sista! I've been desperately job hunting since August w/o luck and my loan repayments kick innext month and I am just falling to pieces.

I will keep you in my prayers.

I am praying for you too, StrawberryQueen. And don't let those bills get the best of you. It's not worth it. God will provide in many ways that you least expect Him too.

God came through precious one. He loves you and believe or not, He has great and wonderful plans for you... So be expectant of great and mighty things in your life.

Thank you so much ladies. I'm feeling very discouraged right now. I don't just need a job for the money, but to not have all of this time on my hands. If my mind isn't totally occupied with something else, I find myself thinking about my ex and the whole Arizona fiasco. Then I get depressed, etc. It's makes it really hard to move forward.

It's all going to change for you very soon. In the meantime, start writing a story of what you went through; write down the changes you'd like to see happen with each event; how you'd handle it differently. Create yourself into a new character and become that person.

Before you know it, you'll be on Oprah... :lol:

I will send up a prayer for you both! I am currently looking for another position and I can understand how frustrating job hunting can be, especially when you see others who seem to be able to find new gigs in a short amount of time.

LOL. Shoot, I wish I could get on Oprah. Maybe she could hook a sista up with a couple hundred thousand or something!:grin:

Hey, how about writing Oprah a letter? While you're at it, write one to Tyra? Between the two of them, it's a definite hook up. :lol:

Just tell them your story and how you chose to make it anyway. And MzLady, I mean this sincerely. You have done a very brave and admirable thing. You made a hard choice and you're still 'here'...among the living. You're strong and beautiful and full of God. That's triple dynamite...:)

MzLady I just want you to know that I was in the same situation and the Lord met every need that my household had. I know that the Lord will do the same for you also ,so be encouraged and hold onto your faith in the Lord.

Thanks everybody!

No word yet, but I'm hanging in there. I'm trying to look into other things I can do like some freelance writing in the meantime. I'm just so unmotivated right now. My mind is on all the wrong things.
