I Married my Best Friend Yesterday!

We had a true DIY Bride wedding. I bought all the sashes from CV Linens, ostrich feathers from the centerpieces, flower petals from china (they smelled like boo boo you have to febreeze them), hired a makeup person for $250, robes were from aliexpress for the cheap cheap, cake was from a lady at the church for $275, church was free, reception hall was $5000 to feed 140 people but 200 people showed up and we didn't run out of food (I was praying like Jesus and those 5 loaves of bread).

My gay best friend and I made the candy buffet table from glasses from TJMaxx and the Ju Store.

We bought Carlos Rossi Moscato Sangria and put it in the fountain for our guests to drink and had a cash bar. Since the free alcohol was there, people didn't mind the cash bar. (I think some of my high school kids snuck some of the sangria though

My kids at the school made my Clay sign for the cake table.

The photographer was a college student that cost $450 + $50 for engagement pictures.

My favors were 120 cookies from Sams in cd cases that say Thank you, 150 Water bottles, and 150 wedding cds that I made. There were so many favors that people forgot to get the cds. Maid of honor passed the cds out to people.

My mother was scared these two dark colors would not go together (Teal and Purple) but they actually went perfectly. I even added some blue in there and it still worked perfectly! I love colors so it was naturally a bright arsse wedding. I promised my fiance that I would not do all pink and green hahaha despite me being an AKA so I thought this was a great trade off.
