I never keep track of anything besides trims but this app is super neat...will probably end up keeping track of more things.

You should have a paid version or a donate option of some sort.

Can you make a similar app, but for fitness? I would loooove a fitness app that tracked my journey from fatty to fabulous LOL

BostonMaria The fitness diary is definitely an idea that I have been thinking about and a future project that I want to work on.

As far as charging for the app I really just wanted to get it out there to as many people as possible, mostly for feedback. I will of course be offering a paid version soon. Statistically most people just don't pay for apps (I myself am guilty of this) and offering a free version of your app with paid upgrades from a marketing standpoint just seems to be the best way to go. IMO

I love that it has the products section so I can track my stash !!!!

for the PRO version you can work on adding icons for the "in use" tab example 100% 75% 50% 25% and it could notify for replacement at 25% or something like that.

Yep I really like this app. Ahd its gained some traction in the app store. Its now number 29 when you search "hair diary". When i downloaded it this morning it didn't come up in the search .... had to find it by using your name !!

I'm so ecxited for you, like seriously !!!

I just thought of something else now that ive also downloaded to my tablet. We need some way to sync the info across devices, maybe through the website (like how myfitnesspal works)

Great app! I always tried to start a hair diary but stop and lost it. This is so convenient. I just had a setback last week from a Dominican stylist (when will I learn) cut me from BSL to shorter than APL with significant heat damage and breakage post wash. I hope this app will help me focus on what needs to be done to repair this horrendous damage.

I checked it yesterday and it was at 27! Now its at 47...

Once I get the iPhone version out I plan on integrating everything into the website for syncing, messaging, and whatever else I come up with!

I have always used my blog to keep track of everything but a lot of the time I don't always have time to do so!
Since everyone is using apps for everything else I thought this would be a great way to do it instead!! and quick!

Ladies I just uploaded a new version of the app!!

I included the ability to create your own notification on set days and times!!
(Will add recurring notification on a later version)

I also added a list for the challenge rules so each can be displayed individually and I updated the image displays for each page.

If you want to remove an image from a particular post or an item from the challenge list, simply long click. Long click in the gallery page to remove the image from the app completely.

I also added a few more little tweaks that you may or may not notice.


I hope you all enjoy!! I want to keep this app updated and working perfectly. I am still working on the iPhone version, so Im going to note all ideas and implement them in maybe a month depending on how things are moving.

Let me know if anyone has any issues!!!
