I just texturized my new growth!

Well, I finally decided to do it. I couldn't take the two extreme textures anymore. I used African Pride (for the first time) relaxer and seperated my hair in 4 parts. I let the relaxer stay on my hair for about 8 minutes and combed through each section lightly with a wide toothed comb. I am soooo happy with the results. My new growth came out very wave. I've been growing my natural hair out since 1/04. I can finally put my hair in different styles again. Now I just wish all my hair was as wave as my new growth.

congrats, I know you must be in love with your hair right now.
by mistake I also started texturizing my hair. I bought elucence lye. It left a lot of curl pattern in my hair. so much that I fell in love with it.

my next relaxer was with CON lye and instead of bigger curls like the elucence left, it left little waves. (which I'll be sticking to) without meaning to I now realized that I've jumped on the texturized band wagon.

Like Offthechainliz, without meaning to I have been getting "texturized" results when I relax my hair with my no lye relaxer. It leaves a waviness which I like.

about the first 2-3 inches of my hair is so thick, I can't wait till I grow out the the relaxed ends so I can have a head full of thick hair just like isis. I also think that geting bone straight relaxers also left my hair very, very weak cause it breaks to many bonds to get it so straght.
