The link and pw are in my sig. I'm still very much a newbie and I've just signed up at Picture Trail. The shots are my "beginning of my journey shots." I'll post more soon (after my relaxer).I'm trying really hard to grow my hair, so I've elected to strecth my relaxer. I'm now 8 and 1/2 weeks post (the longest I've ever gone)! Hopefully I'll make it to ten /images/graemlins/smile.gif! We'll see...

Stretching is a great idea. You'll get to 10 weeks with no problem. Happy hair growing!!

What are your goals?

Your hair is looking good.

Keep reading. Do some searches on managing newgrowth. I know I had learned to manage with different products and just plain 'ol TLC and I stretched to 17 weeks! The absolute longest I've ever gone.

HHG!

You are off to an excellent start!!

Can't wait to see the post relaxer updates so we can see how much your hair has grown.

as long as you take heed to the good haircare advice here, you will be fine...... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanx ladies. I really need some encouragement. Kombov Dymond, my first goal is to be brastrap length by September, 2005. After that, I want to be very close to waist length by September 2007. I hope that's not pushing it, but I have faith /images/graemlins/smile.gif! I believe I can do it with alot of TLC and much prayer!

Your hair looks great GOOD LUCK with reaching your goal.

ditto! /images/graemlins/smile.gif Happy Hair Growing!!!

I just saw your album and I hate shrinkage too because it makes your hair look shorter than it really is. I bet after you get a relaxer, your hair will be much longer. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Songbyrd!

Congrats on stretching out your relaxer! Don't worry about it appearing uneven right now. My hair does that too when I'm several weeks post touch-up. You'll be so happy with the results though when you finally do relax! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanx Poohbear and SouthernGirl. You feel my pain. My hair scared me for a minute because I thought it was breaking really badly with all the unevenness, but when I wash it, it hangs pretty even. And I also don't have much hair coming out at all. I'll add wet pics soon. I think it will be longer after relaxer /images/graemlins/clap.gif!
