i dont think its deep rooted at alol - shes just being silly

I have no words....

Oh yes I do...

Sorry this may be harsh, but that poster is beyond stupid

She is married to a man that has never seen her real hair?

She thinks that if the baby has nappy hair it would reveal her secret, as if genes are so predictable like that.

She is afraid of the baby having nappy hair in the first place.

She said she looked exotic...that is almost a dead give away for someone with issues.

My list could go on

:dizzy:

Wow, if that is for real, that is seriously sad. I mean THAT is what she is worried about in regards to her future children? :nono:

But you know what, I'm sure there are more than a few women who feel this way. They just never post their worries on the internet.

Totally off topic, but your hair is GORGEOUS! I love the thickness and the length!

Stupid posts like that are one of the main reasons I dont frequent that site. It seems like that LF glue has seeped into those people's brains....

i was just going to say . i have to sneak off to her fotki to see if its updated lol

just beautiful!

I find it sad but for this very reason I am glad to be natural. What you see is what you get. My SO has seen me with my hair looking like:eek: and he has seen it tame :) . He just loves the fact it is long.

I think that this woman is giving her husband less credit than he deserve.

I hope she fixes her issues quick. I think if she had to choose between a nappy hair healthy baby and a straight hair baby with a disability she would forget about hair in a second.

I also think this is not a white man with black woman issue. I see and know plenty of black women that try to pass their relaxed or texturized locks off as their hair. Even if their man knows it is not their natural hair texture they will say my hair is not as nappy.:look: A lot of black men have been disappointed but I can understand why a lot of black women feel a need to be secretive about their hair.

I really shouldn't even be paying attention to this type of post but, it's so shocking. Where do these people come from?!?

Check out this response:

"Hey Sexy! Don't worry, my husband is white too and believe you me, when you guys have kids, your husband's grade of hair will cancel out your "nappy hair". Your child will come out with hair that is wavy and a finer texture than the average African American's hair. So, don't worry! Sit back and enjoy your preganancy. I'm next

Now I really have no words. :barf:

I've seen some stuff along the same lines here too.

It's not as shocking as we want to believe. It is actually VERY common.

Whoa. I hope she is not being real with that post. It just HAS to be a joke.

Who even care what kind of hair their baby has!?!?! My bf and I have recently been talking about our future and kids and all, and none of our discussions have been about hair texture.  With all the joys and stresses of raising children WHY THE HECK would someone pick hair texture as a battle?!?!

What is the world coming to!??!

I really don't know. :(

When I was pregnant I don't think hair texture even crossed my mind when I was thinking about what our baby would look like. I know I did assume they would have dark hair, but other than that it wasn't even an issue.

Once the baby is actually here, there is so much to think about, worry about, pray about... hair isn't even a blip on the radar.

Ditto, it's not that serious.:ohwell: I would be more worried about delivering a healthy BABY rather than anything else.

I was going to say! I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't shocked. I mean, it's very sad, but it doesn't surprise me one bit.:ohwell:
